I remember the demon apt being introduced but I don't know who introduced him.... I'm at a really great part of the book and I don't feel like going back to find out.

She's an aptorian demon from Shadow on orders from Shadowthrone and Cotillion and temporarily 'borrowed' by Sha'ik, is the quick lowdown.

Yeah, after kalam gives Shai'k the book of Dryjna he recieves the aptorian as an escort.

Yeah, after kalam gives Shai'k the book of Dryjna he recieves the aptorian as an escort.
and apparently apt was playing double agent the whole time, even unto convincing ST that Sha'ik had turned her

Aptorian is Greek for 'wingless' - are we to infer all other demons are winged?

Apt is a roustabout, layabout, borderline psychotic Danish member of this forum with larcenous tendencies towards wheelchairs and dubious taste in women and film.
He also claims that he was unaware of the fact that he was naming himself after a female character when he chose the name for himself, but I think we've all seen Silence of the Lambs often enough to know his true motivations.......
