Thats what I mean. The compounds are the mains the rest are just extra stuff that neither of us can be bothered putting down :smoke:

Yep, I misunderstood what you meant. Sorry man. Posted Image

Been sick for about a week so i'm gonna jump back in slowly today since i've almost no energy. Gonna do a nice and easy total body workout and maybe jog a mile or so.

Anyone ever use the TRX system? I've been incorporating little bits into it into all my workouts and the workouts i design. Its pretty BA.

My theory is that the misunderstanding was caused by the high amount of testosterone present in a thread about lifting weights, we just had the natural impulse to fight.

The only thing I do regularly is footie every wednesday until I cough my lungs out and can no longer stand. Fun times.

Play two times a week. Should cough less after two months of that.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I really dont want to go to the gym now as its incredibly cold and raining like on wednesday. Its a half an hour uphill walk that will leave me soaked and unmotivated in the gym. Plus my right knee is aching for some reason and Im tired after running around today.

I am ofcourse still going :smoke:

Slow Ben- Squats always cure colds because theyre full body movements. Itll kickstart you anyway. BEst case scenario it opens your lungs up and gets you feeling better. Worse case it makes you feel worse but youll be tired from doing them and will get a good nights sleep.

On the dangers of Creatine addiction

Quote

Buy creatine. Rip label off creatine, frantically put it in my backpack. Carefully drive home. Don't open garage, open door slowly. Please tell me no one heard. Quietly shuffle upstairs. Run into bathroom, slam door. Turn on shower. Swiftly transfer creatine into baby powder bottle, no one will notice. Put two scoops directly into my mouth, can't risk shaker cup. Get water straight from sink. Go downstairs, dinner, pokerface. Almost rip the hinges off the door leaving the bathroom. Mom: So how was your day? I slam both fists down into the table, shattering my plate screaming FINE. In tears, I run back upstairs. Slam bathroom door, this time the hinges come off. Open window. Pour creatine out window, escaping in the wind. I close the window, glass breaks. I place both hands on the sink. I feel the paint being peeled underneath my fingernails. I look into the mirror. What have I become?

Quote

On a cold Friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I had been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungry, didn't have any lunch. In fact, I didn't eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was surprised they didn't ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the receipt and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the creatine steroid from the bag.

I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating a lot? I remove the label from the tub and tear it into a thousand small pieces. I flush that down the toilet, too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom ask me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "Mom, it's just for a school project". "What project?" "I don't know mom I just started it!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping upservings into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The creatine steroid is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this.

I open the creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I don't want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "Do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this shit now. "No mom I do not want a cookie" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. Oh god, what have I done?

Hehe. I've never used creatine, but that's funny.

I just got back from the gym. I spent a few minutes talking to a woman I see there on occasion. She squats. Never seen that before at my gym. It's in the smith machine, but still.

But creatine isn't a steroid... Jeez, I can never tell if this is meant to be pure sarcasm regarding steroids or if the people writing these have no idea it's an organic acid used to build muscle.

Sweet sassy molassey I love creatine.

If your hitting the gym hard. I mean HARD, not just hard. I really feel more energy than without pushing me in that last hour or so of my workout.

Ive just got back from th gym

S- 5 x 5 90
OHP 5 x 5 65
DL 1 x 5 130
Pulls ups - 5 5 3 (dead hang wide grip)

While I will stick with SL 5 x 5 for a while I think might make a programme that is isolation based around compounds. Ill build up a decentish level of beginner strength first before I mov onto this but have a look and share you thoughts

SO Monday Chest and Triceps
Flat Bench 5 x 5
Dumbell Chest press 4 x 8
Dumbell Flies- 4 x 8
Incline bench 4 x 8
Dips- 3 x 10 (increase the weight with a chain belt)
Tricep rope extensions 4 x 8
Skulllcrushers 4 x 8

Wednesday Back and Biceps
DL 3 x 5 (only reason I do one set of DLs now is because its says so on Stronglifts because your core is taxd after squats)
BB Rows 5 x 5
Good mornings 4 x 8
Lat Pulldowns 4 x 8
Chin ups 3 x 10 (ill have to build upto this then use a chain belt)
EZ curl bar preacher curls 4 x 8
Hammer Curls 4 x 8

Friday Legs and shoulders
Squats 5 x 5
Leg press 4 x 8
Leg extensions 4 x 8
BB OHP 5 x 5
DB OHP 4 x 8 (not sure about putting these two together)
Front shoulder BB raises 4 x 8
Shrugs 4 x 8

Any thoughts ideas or anything for this?

SUBTLE NINJA EDIT- Also Coco I didnt lie to you Iv just weighed myself again ;)

The only thing I would change is your only working each muscle group once a week. That's 6 days rest for each. Usually you only want to rest that much for the very beginners.

It's from /fit/ over on 4chan.

It's satire pointed at those people who thinks that taking protein powder and creatine is not "training natural".

I laughed my ass off reading them.
