Not really.

The majority lynched sorrit because they aren't sorrit and are either town(for whom this is a viable tactic) or pretending to be.

I think it is highly unlikely that a killer would do that. It would be incredibly stupid for one. Why draw attention to yourself. Any smart killer would not want to do that.

Kesso is being wishy washy about his case.

It was a joke case. But if people honestly think that a killer would signal that they are a killer in one of their posts then fine. I'm all for following this through. I need to vote for someone and I'm not sure if my vote on Telas counts towards determining my winning condtion as it was done after the lynch and before the end of night.

It was a joke accusation as well.

Pushing a bit is the only way we'll get any information to make better choices at this stage, since the lynches won't give much.

a bold and brazen killer would do it to easily dismiss the case against him

a new guy would do it by mistake

another guy would do it just to be too obvious therefore getting you to dismiss him as a potential killer (which you have just done by saying it incredibly stupid)

so yeah there are reasons one would do this.

I agree, I don't think we can dismiss suspicious posts because we assume no one is stupid enough to make a mistake. Not only is that usually a bad assumption in my experience, but we just lynched Sorrit for making a similar, "stupid" mistake.

I'm not saying we should just lynch Telas for saying the word "gun", but let's try to be consistent if we can...

I'm not certain that the comment should result in a Telas lynch, but I think it should be filed away in the "suspicious statements" file.

There is a difference between reasons posted on thread and real, ulterior reasons that no one talks about. They are both important, you can't dismiss everyone's comments of "oh Sorrit probably isn't town based on this one mistake" just because it's day one. I would be suspicious if someone said, "Oh, Sorrit made a mistake, let's lynch him to find out" and then a few hours later says, "No one's stupid enough to make a mistake like that, let's give Telas a pass."

I disagree with this as well, why don't you think the lynches will give much information? I think they will probably show us a lot, since we should have 3-4 CFs to work back into the train and by day 2's lynch we'll have double the CFs and more players will know each other.

I don't think your vote counts at all, it came after the lynch but before resolution. Until the start of day 2 you can't vote again.

Do you really think people voted Sorrit because of the reasons on thread?

I think it matters less what the "real" reasons are because we can't know for sure. I think it DOES matter when someone says that a particular reason is good enough to vote for one person but not for another. This is what gives us insight to the possible "real" reasons.

A CF is the minimum of information you can get from a train in a game with a CF.

We are encouraged to vote arbitrarily with little reasoning (look at some of the votes, in a normal game lots of them would draw heavy suspicion) so the lynches give us very little in terms of player interaction.

A lack of player interaction makes CFs less helpful.

You say we'll get lots of info because of other CFs being fit into the train but this isn't that true. The multiple CFs would be handy if we had a lot of players actually doing stuff on thread, but just looking at how they fit on the train isn't likely to be very helpful. It's only really useful if there is a pattern(which we're unlikely to get), and that's not very reliable early in the game.

I didn't say we got no information from trains. Just that pushing gives more, because it encourages players to interact on thread which makes CF information far more useful than it otherwise is.

This would matter (assuming the same situation ofc) except afaics it isn't really the case.

so you knew the lynch had gone through yet you voted anyway? so the reason for this? i can only see that as signalling. what would be the point in the "joke vote" otherwise. i could have seen some merit in the case because that is what people do, but then you dismiss it as easily as create it, therefore it makes you and him look a bit suspicious

No. I voted not knowing that the lynch went through and then I continued to catched up and then realized that I was too late once I read further down the thread.

The shadow of the Willis tower was just peeking over a apartment complex in West Town. The crowed was gathering in the alley behind. Inside the circle lying on his side with his over coat open to expose his badge was a body that had been shredded with bullets.

Sorrit he was a FBI agent and Morgoth.

It is now night.

It is Night 1. 11 hours and 44 minutes remaining
