Overall, I'm very impressed with the on-thread content so far. There's been lots of good discussions, heated lynches, some good cases, some bad, etc etc. Even with stagnant nights the day-time convos haven't lessened. That's great.

OTOH, I'm really disappointed in the NAs (and DAs). Ment, Obdi and Bubba just sitting on their asses healing Ment and the location is ridiculous. Obdi could and should be sending much more detailed communications to Ment, and Ment should be signaling back to Bubba that healing him isn't necessary so Obdi can go and find people. Given that he has Mastery, Obdi should really be trying to find everyone he can because it's the commonest non-kill NA and if he can get a duel its an instant kill for him. MTS is making a nice effort to kill people but if he's the only one doing anything, and obviously Bubba is pretty much phoning it in at this point. Ment has probably forgotten about his one-time lover bond creation at this point, and if he remembers it's probably too little too late at this point. And even furthermore, they've all gotten an Illumination in Luo Yang from Tennes a few days back so they should at this point have worked out who's who and be stomping on Karosis and Korlat.

Speaking of, dkt and Mott are probably the only ones who are really "doing their jobs" at this point. It's really unfortuante for Mott that Ment is ruining all her kills, as she's done well at picking the Xia the last few days, especially since the Illumination.

Yan are doing better with the NAs, ie some are actually trying, but given they were all in one location they could've done a lot more to work together. They all got moved to Xin Du at once and The Dude Illum'd for them, so they knew they were all there. Why didn't JLV or Tattersail post a notice asking for a guard on Emur while they killed him? Practically the entire team has said in PM that they think Emur is an Emperor, but no one thinks to try that lovely thing called "teamwork"

Lu, the dynasty with the most collaboration ability, has collapsed into doing nothing (except for Shin the crazy jungle vigilante) after JA's death when they could have united and smacked down Ma Chao by now.

The Ma Chaos are low-posting up the ass and therefore aren't making the effort to look at the thread and figure out who the Lus are so they can kill them (hint: they should really go re-read through the JA train)

And lastly Morgy is actually doing okay as Sima Yi. Sil and then Mockra were good recruit targets, and he had no way of knowing Kesso was PM. His current choice is Sheltatha though, and given that he has had a couple Illuminations to tell him exactly what alts are in his area I'm not sure I understand his choice...

So I don't know if MTS is bluffing or just thinking wrong... he's saying he attacked dkt and was blocked, and that they're in the same location. Well they are indeed in the same location, but MTS wasn't blocked. He was told that he blocked an action (Sil), not that he was blocked in his action...

I think I'm dead tonight anyway. After my play on Karosis I'm pretty sure that the Champion will target me for a night kill tonight. Then I'll be able to enjoy spoiler heaven and not have to worry anymore and get all my questions answered.

Of course, the answer is in fact "as many as he wants", since that is in fact what self-heal allows . Don't really know why he would rule out the possibility of barbarians being able to heal...

I should not have moved from Xin Du, I should have stayed. I was thinking that I had to get closer to Emur to kill him, but I didn't use notice and actions good enough. We should have all moved as one, and then our actions may have been better and successed. Hindsight I'd play this game differently. I didn't think to guard and kill. This is such a good game

NAs noted. Out of curiosity, if you think he's the Lu PM why are you gunning for him? They're emperor is dead and the starting map puts them far away from you, you think he'd still be a threat?

As for feeling like an RI - excellent. My biggest worry that I kept in mind whilst designing this game was that I wanted to keep the lynch and daily core mafia paramount, not overshadowed by NAs, DAs and faction mechanics. So far seems like it worked!

I've noticed the lynches will be harder to get in as the game goes on. I'm thinking that today may be a no lynch as 2 people have to change vote and 2 more need to come in on it, Thyrllan and Ruse won't vote for Galain, so who will?

Depends on the distribution. Right now all 6 factions still have members so should be pretty easy as lots of people are willing to vote for anyone who's not on their team (especially barbarians and Morgy who know everyone on their team). As factions disappear and you get more into a 4-or-less faction game, it gets harder until you have only 2 factions left (in which case the biggest one wins the lynch).

I want him out because I know what PMs can do, and I guess HP is being useful to the Lu by blocking kills against his location. There could be a real thinning of the ranks once people spread out or healers/blockers are removed.

Personally, I could do with a massive bloodbath at the moment, as with everyone important in the Yan holed up in a location where they shouldn't be, I do think there's little chance of us catching a deadly dose of killing at night unless through a lucky potshot.

Ah, motivated by bloodbath. So does the lynch change anything to your plans?

Right now, my only regret is that I do wish I had submitted a heal in Tennes' direction or wish I had the certainty we share tiles so that he's protected. It may be best for our faction if he and I go and twiddle our thumbs in a remote location away from all the action....

Secondly, I guess I made the pivot vote on the Galain train (in the Meanas spat, he more or less revealed that he was a power role, so he was safe to gun for in that regard - I figured he was Xia, Usurper or barbarian though.
For tomorrow, I expect a whole lot of renewed hostility in my direction seeing how I did that. My nice little "I'm just the bell boy!" post was fairly well placed to deal with that misconception, however, and the weekend break is going to work in my favor.

And finally, I guess that the people who are really feeling confident are the Xia, who must feel they're in a great position to win this game with only their special role plus a civvie gone.

So the nice thing now is that everyone except guerilla-Shinrei are stuck in either the Siege of Luo Yang or behind KL in Tian Shui. So, until someone, possibly until a lot of people die, I don't have to worry about moves (all fail) or blocks (only affect actions b/w adjacent locations) at all.

And again tonight looks like we've got 3 good kill actions (and 2 bad) nullified by the power of airborne syringes...
