Sometimes, maps published in fantasy novels aren't comprehensive enough for a given reader's tastes. Sometimes, there are no maps at all where a map is sorely needed. Sometimes, we just like maps, because maps are cool. Thus, this thread.

Post maps of places in fantasy literature. Anything goes, from Middle-Earth to Malazan. The maps can be official or fan-made. Just don't post the maps that appear in the books, excepting extenuating circumstances such as the maps only appear in the final book of a series but are useful from book one.

Here are a few that I've found useful

A Song of Ice and Fire

World-Map
Spoiler

Westros, showing territories for each house.
Spoiler

The Black Company

Map of the northern continent
Spoiler

The Wheel of Time, detailed randland map with battle sites etc (MAP INCLUDES SPOILERS!!!!)
Spoiler

edit: spoilering the maps, they're all huge.

Although not a map there is a PhD thesis by Dr. Stefan Ekman of Lund University, Sweden Writing Worlds, Reading Landscapes: An Exploration of Settings in Fantasy which deals extensively with the prevalence, or lack there of, of fantasy maps. He also analyses a few maps and discusses how they are used. If you have access to a university library system I think you can view the book online, but I am not sure. It is well worth a look if you are interested in maps in fantasy books.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.

wow, is the firswt westros on right?
I musta been drunk the first time i read the books then because my visions of the world were completely back to front, with the iron isles being to the east of winterfell for a start and Dorne somehow being north westerly
