you know just as little about the high posters on day1, or if they are sneaky you know a load of shit. fact is day 1 you are going mostly on single line hellos or joke posts. theres no info from voting or night actions at all, unlike later in the game. People arent really gunning yet tbf, and your reluctance just makes me think you know one of them and are worried. If i wanted to wifom i could claim its an act or you want us to believe you are associated with them and vote for you instead on the grounds that you are trying to mislead me or seem to have a relationship with a low poster

ugggh... ok...i'll play your little game.
I could also say that you perhaps know that the low posters aren't on your team and are just looking for an easy lynch.
Or you are the cult and are eager to get the lynch going to start recruiting and its easy to pick on the players that have yet to have an opportunity to actually have some time to come one yet.
You guys are pointing fingers at people 20 hours into a game who clearly have just checked in early to say that they know the game is on and will be back when they have the time?
this earlyYou use "laying low" as an excuse and then drop a vote looks a bit dodgy to me... Everyone hasn't even checked in FFS.
You can bluster on about me trying to "protect one of them" ....but you forget.... I AM ONE OF THOSE PLAYERS...hurr durr.
So watever... go ahead vote merrid of for not showing up in good time...you must have a pretty good idea of who is on your team then.
Thats what i think anyways.

In a faction game its highly unlikely that any player knows more than one other player so to claim i dont know any of the low posters are on my team is a relatively safe bet, and in the end with so many low posters if i did have a team mate in that area all i would do is push for a different one so the point is fairly moot.
Also - i am not blustering, you said its too risky going for someone with one post, and yet when i suggested we look at you (considering you are now not a low poster and i know you vehemetly do not want one of them lynched) you over react to what was in my mind a good humoured jest.

Thank you for a the lesson on faction games master yoda...teach me more!!
seriously... all i was saying is that i find it silly in a faction game for someone to start voting for a player they have ZERO info on and using low posting as the excuse.
Especially so early on in a game...you guys are not even giving people a chance to start playing and are already gunning for low posters?
Thats fucking stupid. This game started around bed time for some...give people a chance to come on before you start gunning that angle at least...thats all im saying!!
You have more chance of deducing if someone is on your team or not if he has actually had a chance to talk...correct?
You keep on defending alkends decision to go for low posters, and it makes me believe that there is a good chance you know that these players are not on your team already...at least its better then me following along and voting for people who have hardly said a word yet!
I have no idea weather Merrid or Serc are on my team.
therefore i would like to at least give them the time to speak before i start labeling them "low posters" or "laying low" and these rather nonsensical labels aimed at players freaking less than a day into the game.
It seems to me that you guys might be pushing for an easy lynch too....and why would you want to do that?
Wouldn't you like to hear from more people before you start throwing this FUD around?
This whole nonsense that day one is "always random" is so old hat and is only true because people like you make it true.
I would much rather vote off one of you two... because you seam to be very happy throwing caution to the wind and voting for just about anybody... especially players that have not had a chance to come online yet making it even less likely that you would glean any form of allegiance!
Vote Eloth
I am voting for you because Alkend merely placed a vote and used low posting as an excuse. and he was maybe just trying to get more talk.
Whereas you seem to have taken it a bit further and even started defending the idea that voting off low posters is fine..and actually dont seem to care who you vote for which is more indicative of someone who knows full well who his team is.
Which in turn smacks to me of there being a slight chance (better then voting off a random at least) that you are a cult member and are willing to vote anybody because cult members are about the only guys who dont give a toss who goes!
cheers
edit - quote tag fuck up!!

You ahve said that it doesnt matter who we vote right?
You are defending the fact that voting low posters now makes no differecen right?
All these are indications that you would be willing to vote off a low poster today simply because "its all rondaom anyways"
right?
How am i being defensive?
I am not getting targetted here!...i am simply making a point and speaking my mind when i see something.
No you havent voted...but that is not the point....its what you are alluding to that speaks volumes!

Your whole idea that we can just vote whoever is what stinks more to me.
I only went after the low post thing because it is a pet peave of mine.
But your idea that we should just go random stinks to me..

I actually said its highly unlikely that anyone knows more than one person on their team given that fener was spouting nonesense about knowing their entire team what its entirely possible we have 4 teams of four, as generally in faction games you learn the next person up, or if your faction leader you know the next down. I never said anything about my own circumstances as i dont want to risk a modkill.

if you sign up for a game and have one post in 32 hours then thats your fault. its not mine that people dont participate. Given scums tactic in the last game of low posting its perfectly reasonable to go for them early. Your reaction is an over reaction and just comes across as fake blustering.

Its not so much you voted for merrid.
its the fact that you guys (more eloth) think its perfectly fine to vote anybody off with no information on them.
And voting randomly is fine because thats what happens anyways.
Wich stinks!!
and i am the top poster now because i am online for a decent spell now for the first game since the game has started.
i am gaining a lot of information just from the posts so far, however, there is no way on day one i will know who will be on my team or a good guy rather than cult. i couldn't even make a good guess, however it is easier to speculate whom i think to be the cult because of lack of posts or some other reason i am to find. i am not set on the merrid vote but it is players like you who let the low posters have a free ride day one, where do you think a recruiter would hide? how do you think a recruiter will play? you see you fit a mold as well as merrid, merrid said he will be back on later, not tomorrow, yet he didn't turn up, you however didn't start posting until you saw someone commenting on it and then got very defensive about a low poster hunt, it is only day one and there was not much to go on so i don't see why you got that defensive...

4 teams of 4?
so cult has 4 people?
hmm...i dunno what to make of this...how thick are you laying it on mr Hollywood?
Cult has 2 people...maybe 3...though i doubt it.
And its more likely that they know each other to boot. Hence why you would be going gung ho and not caring who you vote for.

I was just saying its stupid to go for low posters because you dont klnow they are on your team. etc etc.
Eloth then goes on about day one lynch being random anyways and thats it doesnt matter who we vote in the end.
THAT is what the issue for me is.
He doesnt seem to care who gets voted!
And i could only see cult with that type of attitude.

There are fifteen players fener, now unless you know a lot more than i do your going to have to gamble that whoever is lynched isnt in your team. Now if a vast majority of people dont really post beyond saying hello its going to be random. crying about it aint goign to change that.
Yes, if you have the view that every day one is always random and have this defeatest attitude that we cant ever get any real info on day one so why even bother and lets just dtake the easy route and vote playes who have yet to come online...then yes....you are not putting effort in.
And you are only participating in this discussion because i have dragged you into it.
never mind the fact i voted for you.
If i had not said anything you would still be looking to vote any old random like you said is what we are going to do and is all we should do on day one apparently.

yea...
what gets me is alkend votes for a low poster extrememly early...right..ok...ok i can buy that.
I mean he is putting pressure on people...fine
But then eloth goes and defends the fact that voting off low posters is fine...because "hey, who cares...day one is random anyways"
I mean really?...wow
edit - tyoo

really wow, like wow. i mean wow, WOW WOW!!!!!
Yoiu really dont like the thought of low posters being voted off

if you sign up for a game and have one post in 32 hours then thats your fault. its not mine that people dont participate. Given scums tactic in the last game of low posting its perfectly reasonable to go for them early. Your reaction is an over reaction and just comes across as fake blustering.
I do and always will maintain that going after low posters half ways through day 1 is fucking retarded.
deal with it.
and because i disagree with you i am obviously cult... genius detection skills there.
No you could be cult because you dont give a fuck who is going to get voted off, you just write it off as "day one is always random", wich is indicative of a cult mentality....dont you read?

how long left until night time ps?
it looks like we will not get a lynch today regardless of who we think to go for. 6 people online though is good, more could join in this debate.
the thing is fener, everytime i've been online there has been at least 4 anon users, choosing not to post anything.
if people are purposely not posting to stay away from the limelight then a low poster vote is a good vote because it is targeting those non posters that are just watching us squabble.

Its been less than a day and your already trying to deduce meta "trends"....my initial argument was that its just too damn early to start making calls like that.
But i can understand your sentiment. Its just too early for me to agree.

Back. Managed to read what I have missed and i'm a little confused why Fener is so busy defending some low posters, especially since the game has been on for over 24 hours, which means that regardless of timezones, everyone should have had a chance to say something more than 'i'm here and will be back later'.
I'm willing to vote low posters if we make a run at a day one lynch. I'm not sure about Fener at the moment, but I think he is too out there and pushy to be a power role, but is most likely protecting a low poster on his team who is low posting. The question in, which low poster is he protecting? And then trying to push the vote onto Eloth, when it was Alkend who first went after low posters? Checking back, Alkend voted for Merrid. I will do the same.
vote Merrid
I am around for a bit before end of day if people want to take a look at someone else.

Really Fener? I take it by your utter lack of response that I am completely correct and you have nearly given up the game already as we are talking about removing your leader.
