I'm not watching it, but I'm guessing you could say this about Keijo every week

Ok, caught up on Izetta (ep 9 and 10).

Glad to see how things have... escalated. It's been nicely exciting turn for the plot, even if it's predicated on some blatant character incompetence/oversight. Looking forward to where things go next... but can Fine and Izetta please stop having their emotional heart-to-heart talks? Their so cringey!

Neat video that somewhat articulates what i was trying to articulate about grimgar.

So drifters is fantastic so far, im so glad i decided to pick this up. Though im not a fan of the gag manga art style from time to time, when its time to get serious its fights are fantastic. That and nobunaga alone is worth watching the show IMO.

MGRP Ep 11:

JoJo PT4 Ep 35 (I think?):

Spoiler

Keijo Ep 10:

Spoiler

I watched Ep1 of Drifters the other day as well when Crunchyroll was having issues with MGRP. I'm not sure if I'll continue with it to be honest. Yeah, when it's being gritty and broody it's really quite good, but it seems to undercut this with random and unwelcome sharkface moments once too often which kind of kills the mood for me.

SAO "fairy world" is fucking awesome! I like the world much more then the 1st.

I like Alfheim a lot, too, and I think it doesn't deserve the bad rap it gets from a lot of the fandom. Some of the characterizations are a bit... simple or panderific, but meh Aincraid was like that, too, IMO.

Theres a second season split into two main parts

Gun Gate online
and the
mother rosario arc.

Both were highlights of the show as s1 was absolutely terrible, main reason is both arcs take some of the focus away from the gary stu protagonist that is kirito.

Also time for some LOGH trivia, was going over the staff page on MAL

Reinhard von lohengramm is vegeta

Ruental is ofc the narrator from hayate no gotoku but also charles zi britania

Many of the cast i noticed though don't see have had particularly big careers, though given its an 80s anime id be shocked if most hadnt retired by now

I hit play on SAO 2. It does indeed seem to be the GGO stuff. Idk why it has the 2 though if this is a series.

Oh cool it shows shooter type pov screen. Making me want to fire up Destiny.

The anime is split into S1 and S2, despite being 4 arcs, because the show originally was just 26 episodes, airing in 2013, consisting of the Aincraid arc for the first 14 episodes and the Fairy Dance (Alfheim) arc for the remaining 10 episodes. The next 26 episodes didn't air until a year later as "season 2", consisting of the Phantom Bullet (Gun Gale Online), Calibur (Alfheim) and Mother Rosario (Alfheim) arcs.

Ughhhh why did they make this dude look like a girl?

Because SAO is (and always has been) full of silly, not particularly clever slapstick comedy moments and the author this was a good way to set some of those up, as well as the plot point of Sinon being mad at Kirito.

God, Your Name even made Gigguk do a serious heartfelt video today instead of his usual meme comedy. I don't know if I can survive waiting for it to finally come to Canada. If I do, looks like I am definitely making the drive to wherever it is playing, this could be one of those "regret it for the rest of your life" missed opportunities if I don't!

So i started watching yuri.

Those skating scenes wow....... top tier animation.

Also i recently found out twby s4 was out.

They need to find a vocalist who can sing properly. Chapter 6, they had the vocalist singing what i assume was supposed to an an operatic number. So bad, 0 technique flat cresencdos, the fact it sounds like pure throat singning.

I watched Keijo today.

I had to stream Bungou stray dogs in the background for the all important wife walks in unannounced switch. Im trying to ease her into anime, she barely survived Shimoneta so I figured i'd scout the way first...and I regret nothing.

Ithis show takes itself seriously. I am into the level of commitment the studio put into gatling ass attacks.

It's like... imagine if Star Platinum was in a swimsuit? That's Keijo. It's well aware that it's ridiculous and plays with it. Where it manages to actually work is that it's not just pointless fanservice; all the characters have fleshed out goals, aspirations and the story is driven along by them. It's JoJo with a bit more A&T.

Yeah, I think it ended well enough. Nothing particularly unexpected or atypical for an anime story, but that's alright. It was worth the watch.

You're right... but it's not a professional production and I assume you're not paying anything for it. Can't you just enjoy it for what it is?

Watashi ga Motete Dousunda is still absolutely hilarious.

I also started watching through Gi(a)rlish number. It's sort of like Shirobako, but with voice actors instead of production staff, and a lot less optimism. Kind of weird... it feels like it wants to delve into an in-deptch expose of problems in the industry, but it keeps stopping short. It's good though, the drama is solid.
