Well at least something happened this week on AoT. Sound track is still great, art is awesome, but we need some story here. We don't really need any more inspirational speeches, flying action sequences, or internal struggle at this point to keep things interesting.

I disagree, the flying action sequences are awesome!!!

Hold on there, no one is saying that the flying action scenes aren't amazing! But now that I know the action will almost always be satisfying, I'd like them to mix in some information and discovery.

I'm sure we'll get it. They didn't just toss in those 2 captured titans reference for shits and giggles.

Wait. They captured two titans? I must have missed that bit. More reason to look forward to the next episode I guess.

zomg, something finally happend in Aot!

So the spring season comes to an end. If i was to sum it up in one word>lackluster.

Aot was nice, but im kind of annoyed at the pacing
Devil survivor>could have been soo much more, not quite sure why it panned out the way it did
Gargantia> Good show but nothing really jaw dropping, i think uro kinda dropped the ball here
Majestic princes>ok series.

http://randomc.net/2...r-2013-preview/

Not sure which series are taking a hiatus for summer, but with what's listed there...

I think i may need to hit the to watch list. I started Black rock, don't know why i stopped (time probably), and the haruhi movie.

glad that it's free or I'd be upset

Need a new series, liked Gargantia pretty well
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

a few days ago, i just finished watching K, it's good not bad, but not so great either, would have loved to see the other 3 Kings, as it only focused on 2 Kings - the Red and Blue, and the other 2 almost near the end of the series,,

now watching Kuroko no Baskue/Kuroko no Basket/The Basketball which Kuroko plays,, it's got OTT basketball and sort of a homage to Slam Dunk as the other guy has red hair and his jersey # is 10,,

after this, will pick another series to watch,,
It's not who I am underneath.. but what i do that defines me - Batman, Batman Begins; 'Without our deaths, sir, there would be no crime. Thus, no punishment to match,' 'Mortal Sword - '
'We are done, my friend. Now, in this manner, we choose the meaning of our deaths' - Mortal Sword Brukhalian to Veteran Nilbanas, siege of Capustan
'Ippen shinde miru (want to try dying this once) ?' - Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl)

anime shows i'm currently watching right now:

HAKUOUKI SHINSENGUMI KITAN - this show is full of bishounen/pretty boys who are members of the Shinsengumi, though i only rarely watch something like this the main guy is kind of cool, and nice OP & ED song,, i once saw this on cable tv, and got curious, it's got nice story, but the MC girl is kind of annoying for me for some unknown reasons,, i'm watching only 2 episodes of this per day,,

SHIN SEKAI YORI - been hearing good things about this, and its sort of true,, an interesting story and its quite disturbing in some places, specially the time skips at the start of every episode,, although my only quips about this is the MC girl and her friends, they're kind of annoying,,

TIGER and BUNNY - a nice take on the superhero genre, a reality tv show about superheroes battling criminals for public entertainment and corporate business,, my quips is that the animation regarding characters is not so crisp, but it integrates cgi esp with the animation of Tiger and Bunny's suit,, i love Tiger's naive and pure-hearted desire to help and save people,, though i like Bunny's suit more,, also i love Origami Cyclone,, hehe,,

also, rewatching Full Metal Panic,, so many Sosuke Sagara LOL moments,,

i watched hakuouki, it was ok. Im a bit of a history buff so second season was really enjoyable, learned about some of japan's history. I actually got into hakouki by watching hakuoiki remeiroku (spelling?) its a prequel to the series and was quite enjoyable, had really god character development. Full metal panic is truly a gem of a series. However its main audience is those familiar with some of the anime tropes

So im watching the dagonropa show since i was glued to my seat during both episodes. Theres another series about god leaving the world or something, idk how it'll pan out. And me being a history buff ill be watching gifuu doudu for the luls

Nope, been too busy travelling overseas and building a new computer to watch much of anything, unfortunately. I don't think I'm even up to episode 12/13 of AoT yet... :S

Will get around to it all once the computer is running and completely stable, I'm sure.

I saw 14, it didn't really advance the plot at all. Like, they could have jumped right from the end of 13 to 15 seamlessly, I think. So kinda dissapointed.

They're doing that again??? Argh I had hoped 14 15 would bring it back like 13 started.

I've watched 15 now, too. Looks like they're developing a whole new subplot that will be the focus for the next little while and intended to increase the tension through new means, as opposed to just more mass murdering by more Titans. In that context, 14 I guess does push that plot forward, and 15 follows up on it.

I was in a curl-up-and-anime mood this past weekend so watch a whole ton of Sword Art Online, since I remember people talking about it a lot in this thread a while ago. It's fun, and I like that it explores a bit some of the darker or weirder aspects of the world it sets up, like people giving up on progressing and just settling down to a new life within the game, or player-murderers, or how people's personalities might change when put into a completely different and dangerous situation like this.

The random-side-stories-at-the-start format was a bit weird but I knew that that was the case ahead of time so it didn't bother me.

It's also obviously quite geared more towards (straight) male audiences, but that's no surprise in an anime about video games and it's not very in-your-face about it so easily ignored.

Stop watching. Now.

Jokes aside, the awesome continues but the gravity of the situation is past. Enjoy the rest as more of an addendum. To most people Swordart-online the anime really reached the climax at the mid finale? It was still good but those first set of episodes were incredibly hard to beat.

It's not quite addendum, its more like a forced season 2. That had some really questionable moments, and characters, and plot, and setting, and ideas and... you get the picture.

Don't watch it . Watch something good, like i dunno, DANGANROPA! seriously it awesome. has yet to dissapoint. WHy is no one else watching this here? Another one from recent time was shin sekai yori. I'd also recommend psycho-pass and blast of tempest.

But I like fairies... :p

I wasn't all that invested in SAO anyways, so I'll probably still watch the rest of it gradually but pick up something else at the same time. Hopefully something with a different-looking protaganist (for pity's sake, Kirito was even dressing like Eren at the start :D )

The latest AoT episode (16?) is nothing earth-shattering, just more interlude and set-up, but at least they are drawing together the seperated plotlines.

Spoiler

The next episode looks like it will amazing and intriguing though! (ie the interlude is OVER)
