Don't know if it's come up already (forum search doesn't like words less than 4 letters :p ), but One-Punch Man is quite good fun.

Thank you Netflix recommendations.

EDIT: WTF? I can't watch it any more??? Only got to S1 ep 7 last night but went to look for it today - not on the list or my list.
Figured it may have had something to do with the VPN (Avast Secureline), so switched it on - voila! It's on my list but won't play - keeps giving me some sort of error that I think is related to having the VPN on. So why could I watch it last night?

Arseholes.

EDIT2: Yup, error code M7111-5059 is the anti-VPN one. But I'm pretty sure One-Punch Man isn't being shown by anyone else in Australia. Goddamn it.
Looks like I'm going to have to get either ExpressVPN or Nord. Was planning on it anyway but was going to do it once the current subscription ran out.

Still no idea why it played for me just fine last night though.

Crunchyroll AU should have it. Have a look and if you can find it and can binge the rest in 48 hours let me know, I can sort out a guest pass with my membership.

Very kind of you, thanks. But it looks like CR don't have it. Not even season 1. All the comments I see say Netflix has at least season 1 "worldwide" but that is not the case.

Ah well.

AoT is far and away better - even knowing what happens this season, it's just excellent in every regard.

But Isekai Quartet is great fun for a ten minute blast of silliness.

Here in the States you can watch Seasons 1 & 2 on Hulu. New episode was just on last night.

listen i love AoT. But AoT is getting old. Like i've long ago stopped being involved in the show due to the frequent hiatuses. Animation is superb and its utterly merciless with its characters. I like it for that reason. But its kinda meh.

Isekai Quarter is a barrel full of monkeys, its hilarious, and these characters interacting with each other is pure laughs. Albedo and Rem bonding over love, Demiurges and Tanya being like minded people in the discipline commitee. I love it!

Yeah, no kidding. I will take any number of Attack on Titan hiatuses if they keep delivering the amazing scenes and moments we've been getting consistently for ~60 episodes now.

Meanwhile Isekai Quartet is like "Heeeey, we have two isekai protagonists that wear track suits, let's made a joke about them admiring each other's track suits. Heeeeey one of our characters is a yandere for Ainz, let's have her get psycho towards any woman who gets near Ainz. It'll be hiiiilaaaaaariooouuusss. And then we'll do a beach episode" (I'm not actually watching it)

There weren't any gaps whil the main thing was being published. I also don't have time to read these days so i havent even kept up with malazan (despite my buying the 2nd khakarnas book only for my brother to be the only one to read it)

Also to be frank, AoT has kinda gotten predictable. Im at the point where i've just completely disconnected with the show. Isekai quartet, meanwhile, I actually look forward to the laughs ill get from all these dysfunctional characters together.

Were there no gaps? If I review back over the history of Malazan, would each year bear a book? Or would there be gaps between them of a few years?

Isekai Quartet is fun, and I'm enjoying it, but it's every character's most notable trait ramped up to 11 for slapstick. There's no depth at all. Whereas AOT continues to deliver in spades. It's hands down the best show of the season. The fact that I know and have known every occurrence that has happened and will happen running to the end of this season should mean it doesn't hit as hard, but it's so well done it has no less impact for my gnosis.

It was staggeringly close to one book per year for the entire run, actually. Think there were two two-year gaps only. MT -> Bonehunters and DoD -> TCG. Erikson is a machine.

Aha, but there were still gaps!

Anyway, this weel's AOT delivered all the fucking heavy (like I knew it would). Episodes like this are what make this series so damn good.

Yeah, that was a gut-wrencher. Not sure I prefer the choice they made, but they certainly executed it well either way.

Loved the latest episode. The literal choice of who lives, and who dies.
