As Nico said, escaflowne is a classic. Lain is too, but you need to be in the right mood for it. I wouldn't bother with Charlotte, it has a few really good moments but doesn't stand well as a whole package and is overall fairly forgettable. I dunno about the rest.

Aaaaand now I'm caught up on Re:Zero, too!
Very interesting show, weird combination of fun goofyness and total cringe when the MC gets too arrogant and self-absorbed, but it works!
I agree, I think

I read a novelization of Mardock Scramble a few years back. Decent cyberpunk-y fun but nothing moindblowing.

I started watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and I'm seven episodes in. Sometimes, I can't decide if the writers think the audience has mental illnesses or if it's funky story telling. The introduction of Tonpetty had me laughing out loud, as well as Dire and Straits.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

The first season is good - Phantom Blood is fun enough and Battle Tendency moreso - but Stardust Crusaders is where it REALLY kicks in.

Not at all, everyone loves Iroh and saka is very likeable as hes not just a clown. Granted zuko was my fav character as it was his character arc in the earth part that actually drew me to the show (was randomly on ytv one day and i watched it then)

It just seems to me that Saka has to deal with a lot of shit mainly because of his friends but is always ready for anything as he is an awesome friend and brother. And I love Iroh's laid back attitude.

Yeah, maybe. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. My theory is purely going by appearances at the episode end.
