Are you watching the dub, then, Cajun? I watched the first episode again a while back when the English dub came out to see how it sounded and even trying to be unbiased from having already watched it in subs I still found the voices pretty grating. Kirito just sounded so little-kid-trying-to-act-tough, eugh.
In contrast, I saw recently that The Devil is a Part-Timer has an English dub now and checked that out. It feels a bit different but not in a bad way and overall seems like a pretty good dub (especially Alciel). I think I'll probably end up re-watching the whole thing in dub.

I just finished re-watching Eps 13 of Hataraku Maō-sama (The Devil is a Part-Timer) this morning! Its excellent stuff. Do they still call Maou by the name Maou in the english Dub?
I really hope theres a second season scheduled this year.

Come to think of it, this is probably a great way to reinforce and develop reading skills for kids!

Yup, he's still Maou Sadao (or however you spell that) and/or King Satan.
I'm not sure but I think they made up a new "demon language" for it, too (IIRC, the 'demon language' in the Japanese version is mostly just German?). It sounds different - mostly gibberish and maybe some backwards words in there, too.
re: second season - from what I recall, when the show was airing there was some people saying there were confirmed plans for a second season, but their sources mostly just ended up being quotes from the voice actors or artists saying they were "excited for a second season" (if it were to occur) and not really reliable confirmations.
There's 11 LNs, and apparently the first season covered the first 3 or so. It *seems* like the LNs are done (volume 11 was published in May 2014 and nothing since), and supposedly they and the anime had good sales. So there's definitely more material to cover and maybe even a proper ending to eventually reach, which would be really nice, but OTOH 13 more episodes would not be enough... maybe not even 26 would be enough... to get to that proper ending, making this possibly another anime that gets a second season, loses some hype from it being a "middle" season and never manages to finish properly.
It's already been 2 years since season 1 and I haven't heard anything about a second season being confirmed in the works, so I'm not optimistic. If they did make more (with the same studio/staff and same quality, of course!) I would be very happy though!

I could've sworn I just saw a giant "Second Season Confirmed" post about that anime somewhere (haven't watched it myself, so kinda glossed over...will see if I can find it)...
Edit: nevermind, it was just someone trolling. XD

MECHA ANIME FTW.
It's the only sort of anime I watch, and that's because I like:
A)Giant things FIGHTING
B)Anime girls FIGHTING
C)FIGHTING
Like any other guy.
I've become addicted.

Also, currently watching Yamato 2199. And I like the music and the episode to episode radio show a lot more than the fights. Weird.

For the 20th Anniversary of Evangelion (yep, this is the year that Eva takes place in) here is a brand new short piece called ANOTHER IMPACT.
Also, when is 3.33 coming out on BluRay dammit?!
EDIT: Also, since the short of all glorious CGI, it NEEDS to be shown to those who have the power and money to make a live action EVA flick...I mean everything here just is GORGEOUSLY translated, especially Unit 01.

I read that it was because it was decided that Funimation's original English Dub was crap (theatrical release) and they have been forced (are in legal battles) to completely redo it?

Ummm sooooooo Jace and me watched 4 episodes of SAO today and we're hooked. Then we get to epi 14 or 15 and shit just isn't the same. I think we got about 15 mins into the episode and he turns to me and says, "I'm bored Daddy." I was crazy bored to and pulled out my phone to web surf while it was still on.
The idle if the season should have been a new season...as a result it takes a bit to get into the second half, but it finishes strongly. Keep with it.

I've already watched parts of Code Geass. It's fun but didn't really hook me. Gurren's visual style seems so horrible I was hardly able to finish the first episode. I will try the rest though. Thank you.

Gurren Lagann is one of the great achievements of the entire anime genre.
Stick with it. Enjoy.

So can someone tell me if anything interesting happened in this ep of log horizon. I stopped watching after 8 minutes. Seriously it keeps oscillating between being interesting and the most boring crap ever.

Durarara!! Great episode! Akane and Toramaru arcs in full swing! So excite!
Wow, Death Parade this week was awesome. Starting to get a lot of hints and some extra information revealed.
Kind of hard to pay attention to the plot though when they are PLAYING POOL WITH PLANETS AND LIGHTSABRES!!!
Next week... Death Twister? Really?!

Cherry-picking this comment from last page...
Silencer, how far did you get in the novels? I had read up to #7 before, but recently I re-read #4 and read 8-10. #4 doesn't really give that much background on Hollywood. It doesn't even really mention
Spoiler
The bigger backstory information came more in volume #8, I think

Hence Yuhei saying at the end of volume 4 / x2 Shou episode 4 that he didn't want Ruri to tell him about her, yet. There's more to come!
