Loki, feel free to put me in the list wherever. Send me the book and I'll send it to him when requested.

:D

I almost want to compose an email where I pose as Tairy and ask him to review my books...

...but I'm not sure I can be douchy enough...LOL

You must, that would be hilarious plus if on the off chance he was actually pleasant about the books that's (not that it's likely) more amunition for TQB!

I should be able to lend a helping hand, I'm sure I've got an e-mail that I never use floating around.

Edit - So if the forum cannot be seen except by members and admins does that mean on the 'recent threads' list no on will see the name of this except us and the admins?

OP has been editted to show who is to send which book and when. Six five volunteers are still needed.

But...wait! You said in the List thread that:
Posted Today, 04:34 AM

Schedules are for organised people -- no! I shall make it up as I go along! PLEASE SEE THE NEW OPERATION GOODKIND THREAD.

What is this scheduling madness?!

But good sir, I am making it up as I go along! I decided at that very moment to draw up a brief plan so that I could keep track of who vulunteered and what book they'll be sending. Notice that almost half of the schedule is incomplete, which will be filled in whenever I make up my mind what should be there. There is, however, no schedule indicating when the schedule should be filled in and therefore, I am still disorganised.

Is there any way of verifying that he is opening these emails, or even that he still checks the account we're sending them too? I mean I assume he does since it's on his profile, but still...

So how is this as a draft?

subject: A fan from the Malazan Empire forums!

'Hi there Battle Platypus,

Your extraordinary number of posts in the Malazan forums marks you as very influential member. This puts you in a position to assist us. We at 'Goodkind's Goodfolk' are dedicated to spreading the gospel that is Terry Goodkind's wonderful novels. Perhaps you have read and enjoyed them? If you haven't yet we strongly urge you to! These books really are the best fantasy in the business, not to slight Erikson of course, who is a wonderful author. We were hoping that if you have enjoyed Goodkind's books you might be willing to put in some good words about them in the malazan forums? Of course it's totally up to you whether you do so, we're only putting it out there for you.

To thank you in advance we've attached a copy of Chainfire for your enjoyment!

All the best and happy reading!,

Kitty.'

You could add it to your msn account, and if he accepts the invitation, it will show if he goes online......Not sure how else to do it.

Magic, love the conspiracy theories as to the possible source of the Goodkind outbreak, they shall never know! I think creating a punny Goodkind fake e-mail might be in order.

This is going well, gang! Good work so far! I'm wondering whether we need a change of plan though.

Was that QBMP who sent the email that Apt quoted in his post? I'm thinking that you should be the one to send the rest of the emails (or maybe only have QBMP and one other person sending), so as to make him believe that he's really getting emails from Goodkind's Goodfolk. We could lead him on a merry chase!

One thing that I strongly recommend is that the same person (QBMP) should compose the main body of the email so that it really seems that they're coming from the same place. If he just gets random emails from everyone he'll see through our plan (or he'll lose interest in our plan, at least).

Kinda need responses to this quickly as the next mail is due to be sent tomorrow, though that can always be pushed back a day if we need to.

EDIT: After some thought, here's the plan:

Everyone will send their copies as originally agreed but you must:

- sign the email on behalf of Goodkind's Goodfolk
- post the message here before sending so that we can check it over as a team

I believe the next sender it QuickTidal, so please shout when you've read this and let me know if this is agreeable.
