There was a brief scene after Tisera does her "the Tyrant is returning!" card layout where she goes to Torvald Nom's hidden stash...which has...moranth cussers enchanted with an elder god's blessing. (Mael's)

What with all the stuff going down at the end of TTH I sort of forgot all about those things till I re-read it just now. You've got to figure they'll find their way into the story somehow though, especially when they're described in the same breath(chapter) as the tyrant's return. Not 100% sure they're cussers btw, but Tisera noted that they were ornate and weren't just clay like most munitions, so you figure it's cussers (or possibly more on the "not for foreigners" list like the redbolts?). Besides with an enchanted smoker would just be lame, and a burner would be counter-mael ;)

Interesting sidenote too, Kruppe reveals by accident soon after that Torvald got them by being somehow revered with the blue moranth, any idea what caused that?

We don't know how he got them, but he does use one or two of them at the end when he has to jump off Lady Verada's estate and ends up in a suspended bubble of water which breaks his fall.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Quite. He became best chums with a guy whose sole interaction with his species up to then was killing as many of them as possible. Befriending a few chitin-wearing dudes is a casual afternoon's work for him.

Water cussers seem much more ineffective than standard cussers and im struggling to think of a use other than to break Torvalds fall in TTH.

They are based on pressure and fluid dynamics.

Maybe you want to clear a small room. You throw in a water bomb and everyone inside turns to ketchup as the water smashes them into walls and furniture or crushes them with pressure.

Say it's a bigger room or an open area, you throw one of these things and it could knock people on their asses and create a small tide that washes people off their feet.

Maybe it summons a seahorse that you can ride into battle like a pimp.

Iirc, aside from breaking Torv's fall, the munition knocked down an entire courtyard of mercenaries.

It's essentially a mini-tsunamunition.

- Abyss, should copyright 'tsunamunition'.

Abyss should copyright all his(her's) signatures/postscripts.
Abyss should publish a book with all such signatures/postscripts and should call it Proverbs (or Gospels) of Abyss.

Everyone knows there are no females on the internet; just dudes, and dudes pretending to be chicks.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

And cats pretending to be Federal Police. Don't with the catocracy!

(Why are we posting off-topic about this stuff in a TtH thread?)
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
