Apple might be winning the battle in the US.
But Samsung is winning the Global war.
It has a far larger market share in Asia, particularly China.
If Apple doesn't change its business model, it will lose out, big down the track.
Apple may not be fighting the right fights, but the thing they've persisted on (which is not necessarily going to continue) is innovating in such a manner that they make it new, fashionable, and desireable. Look at the iPhone - touch-screen and blam, everyone wanted one, and then all the companies made one.
Their salvation (or demise) will be in developing the next thing. Not milking what they have.
