I am not quite sure where to put this but it has SPOILERS!!!!!!!!! so I thought here would be the best place.

Anyways Emurlahn, Tulas Shorn, Rake and Draconus with a little rape, Korlat and Sandalath thrown in.

My crazy theroy, which I am going to post evidence for in a couple days because both my DoD and TCG are loaned out for the moment, is the Draconus was responsible for destroying the warren or more specifically the fight between Draconus and Rake did.

This is how I see how it went down. Mother Dark and Father Light as now an item, Consort Draconus learns of this and being a duke at the time and having a Hostage (which is Sandalath) gets mad rapes her and sends her back to Rake who in turn gets mad at Draconus. Draconus being an Elder God decides it's within his power to destroy Shadow, the union of Dark and Light. He goes there and Rake follows. Tulas knows this fight will ruin Shadow and tries to stop Rake, Rake kills him (or attacks him anyways because he was apparently already ready for war). That's why he is in Hood's Realm and not in Dragnipur. Rake and Draconus duke it out in fight that ultimately ruins Shadow. Rake wins, takes Draconus's sword, slays the bastard and returns to Dark and fights a couple civil wars, drinks T'iam's blood and Sandalath gives birth to Korlat (this is why she has impure blood). More civil wars and invasion from Light. The Tiste Dispora happens, starting with the Edur's remaining royal family being murder by Scabby. Rake stay's behind for some unknown reason with both of Sandalath's kids and leaves with his crew.

Evidence will include a bunch of vague quotes that hint at a number of things. My view is of course one of many I am sure anyways this all from memory at this point.
Several times Elder Gods and Ruin mention that last time Draconus was angery, and it wasn't pretty. Sandalath vague question to Nimander (who she thinks is Rake) about seeing Draconus sword, not believeing Rake could defeat "mightly Draconus". Tulas Shorn telling Ruin that Rake is forgivin. Again this is all flismy evidence but I think this an accepatable outline. I am sure multiple people can and will find holes in it.

Wasn't shadow destroyed from within? The conflict of light and dark? I thought the whole Rake/Draconus thing led to the scattering of the Andii and Mother Dark being locked away, not necessarily anything to do with Shadow.

Have to go back and re-read the books with the Tiste Edur story lines, because that's where the real clues are, but my impression (without a re-read) was that it was internal strife that did it. The Rake/Draconus thing was all about Kharkanas and the diaspora of the Andii.

Whatever the case, I do think your mention of Tulas in Hood's Realm rather than inside Dragnipur does at least provide a marker in the timing of all this. And with such long-lived peoples, I'm not sure we can say what is and isn't related in terms of MD's affairs, the various Tiste wars (civil and not so civil), and Emurlhan. Cause and effect don't need to be so simple nor so instant with these folks.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Just a couple of points, it was said by Eloth to Cotillion in TBH that it was Scabandari that first spilled Draconean blood in KE that started off the sundering. Also by the time of Kallor's cursing, about 120,000 years ago, Draconus hadn't yet finished off making Dragnipur, so the battle between Rake and Draconus would have been long after the sundering of KE and the exile of the Tiste Andii from dark.
