Don't know exactly what it is about Icariums contact lenses that gives Karsa "I don't care how big he is, let me at 'im!!" Orlong pause, but I have to get me some.
My boss wouldn't stand a chance. Not to mention our lass!!!!

The re-read of RG is going good. 400 pages in a week. Sweet!!

I just figured that Karsa saw, either that Icarium had no intentions of fighting (rhulad).. and or that in some way they are both Toblokai

(i appologize for spelling errors since I dont have any books here with me)

If I understand something correctly in I think it was HoC was that Jhag is a mix breed from Jaghut and Toblakai.

Jhag's are Jaghut mixed with other race, generally Elder (T3, Assail, etc.) because there aren't too many Jaghut walking around now. We know from RG and the above scene with Karsa and Icarium that Icarium's something is indeed Toblakai.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

pretty sure it was the (unclear) racial link and Iccy's complete lack of 'come at me bro' that led Karsa to back off.

He realized that Icarium was half Toblakai.
