Merrid says, "I had a weird feeling Okaros sounded familiar... apparently Tattersail got a pass back into the game? Still, he worked his ass off to find an in and ultimately, just fell a little short."

To be voted off once... and then get another opportunity is amazing. To be voted off twice... by the same people that voted you off the first time? That's a little heart-breaking...

Anomandaris says, "Tapper! You cheeky bastard. One of the best players in the game in terms of his social ability. That speech he gave was legendary and probably would have won any jury over."

I think I had a pretty good time playing this game. A little long for my taste, but I can appreciate what Peanutbutta tried to do here...

Serc says, "Bent! So he snuck back into Mafia, the devil!"

Alkend follows with, "The game's better with him in it. He almost made it to the end, too, so you know he's not rusty."

I... am honored to have made it this far in the game. A little annoyed to have fallen short... but this was a wild ride.

Ruse (Lizra)

"Lizra did her very best..." says Merrid. "Can't fault her for trying at the end."

"She didn't do well in challenges, but she had so much control outside of them... it was hard to vote her out!" says Anomandaris.

You can't be too upset if you made it near the end. Still, I'm a little upset. So sue me.

When you reach the top you throw the placards into a burning fire pit and watch as they are broken down into ash for the flames. You then head toward your final challenge.

"C'mon in guys!" Jeff calls the remaining castaways into the challenge area.

"Welcome... to your final immunity challenge," says Jeff. "Today, you are playing for a chance to plead your case to the jury. If you win, you are guaranteed a place at the final tribal council where you will have a chance to plead your case to the jury--a jury you helped vote off. If you lose, after 38 days, your quest for the million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor may come up one day short."

"For your challenge, you will each be placed out on platforms suspended above the water. They are small platforms, each sized to your feet. Every 15 minutes, on my command, you will pull a string and your platform will get smaller. After four times doing this, your platform will be half of its starting size and it will remain that size until the challenge is over. If you fall off the platform, you are out of this challenge. The last person standing will win immunity. I know you want this one... so let's get started."

"After a few minutes... everyone hanging in there... Serc's eyes are closed, trying to find an inner strength... Anomandaris is shifting his feet... Merrid looks pretty comfortable. Alkend seems fine."

[Path-Shaper]

"Anomandaris starting to sway now... he's losing his balance... but he catches himself!"

[Path-Shaper]

"Alkend looking good... Serc looking good. Anomandaris seems to have recovered very well... Merrid shuffling a bit up there... keeping the blood pumping."

[Path-Shaper]

"Alkend looking like he's dozing off... and he's swaying heavily on the platform... he's trying to regain his balance...!"

Splash!

"Alkend's out of this challenge after 12 minutes! Three remain!"

[Path-Shaper]

"Fifteen minutes now... pull that drawstring in three... two.. one... now!"

"Serc wobbling a bit.... Merrid wobbling too! Can they regain their balance?!... Yes!"

[Path-Shaper]

"Everyone looking really comfortable now..."

[Path-Shaper]

"Twenty-one minutes in... and no sign of wavering from any of the people left..."

[Path-Shaper]

"Still looking really good... no trouble."

[Path-Shaper]

"Still going strong... almost 30 minutes in..."

[Path-Shaper]

"OK, it's time to make those platforms shrink again... grab that string and pull in three... two... one... now! Anomandaris and Merrid thrown way off balance! Merrid recovering... Anomandaris looks like he's gonna fall!"

"But he recovers... somehow!"

[Path-Shaper]

"Anomandaris swaying again... but he's able to hold on... everyone else doing well."

"All players going strongly now... no sign of fatigue!"
