You enter the challenge area. Jeff is waiting for you.

"It is Day 37... only five of you remain of the original eighteen... and soon that number will be dropped to four. For today's challenge, we are playing Survivor Shuffleboard. Each of you will be given three pucks. On your own table, you will each shoot one puck and try to get it into the scoring zone at the edge of the table. If you don't make it, you'll have to shoot again. The first person to get all three pucks into the scoring zone wins immunity... safe from the vote tonight... and guaranteed a one-in-four chance of winning this game. Losers... it's not pretty."

"On my mark... Survivors ready... go..."

"Everyone lining up their first shot..."

[Path-Shaper]

Everyone fires... Merrid is way too enthusiastic and his puck goes flying off the table! Alkend lines up a shot... and it perfectly lands in the scoring zone! Anomandaris is trying to bank his shot around the obstacles... and he does it like he was born to do so! He's got one in... Ruse going now... and it hits one of the table barriers! No good! Serc's shot goes... hits a wall... and it lands just touching the scoring zone. It counts!"

"The players line up their shots again... and the pucks go flying! Serc goes for the same approach as last time... and once again, sneaks a puck right into the scoring zone! Serc's got two just sitting right on the edge! Merrid fires... he stays on the table and it gets close... but it's just short! Doesn't count!"

"Anomandaris lines up his shot... and he fires! He bounces it just like last time... and again, a perfect shot! Ruse now going... taking a deep breath... and he shoots! It slides... right into the scoring zone! He's got it! Now Alkend shoots... but he underestimates this shot and it won't go all the way!"

"The players fire again... Merrid finally makes it in! Alkend takes a shot... and his cruises in too! Ruse shoots... and just misses!"

"Serc and Anomandaris, both trying to win right now... Anomandaris takes a shot... and once again, he perfectly gets it to carom off of the walls and into the scoring zone! Serc needs to score right now... Serc lines up a shot, going for the same strategy... it bounces along the wall...!

[Path-Shaper]

"It just comes up short!"

Anomandaris wins immunity!

"Anomandaris... once again, you win immunity."

"We should call it the Anomandaris Immunity Necklace, Jeff," Anomandaris quips.

"Anomandaris, you now have a one-in-four shot of winning this game. The rest of you, I got only disappointment. Tonight, one of you will become the eighth member of the jury. Grab your stuff and head back to camp. See you at Tribal Council."

On the morning of the 38th day, you look into your tree mail and find a note that reads the following:

"Congratulations on making it 38 days out here. One of you will be named the Sole Survivor. But first, you will pay tribute to those that have come before you, because each of them played a part in you getting this far. You will then proceed to your final immunity challenge."

Cheers go up and everyone embraces as you head to the location indicated on the note.

Whoop Whoop!!

You begin the walk of tribute. It's a long, winding path along the coast of the island. The first torch you come to has a wooden plaque upon it that reads,

(you will read the player's plaque and then hear a voice-over from that player reflecting on their time in the game)

Tiamatha (The Dude)

Serc says, "I'm actually really glad we got rid of The Dude first... he has won the last two games that Peanubutta has run and I'm almost certain he would have still been here if we hadn't gotten him out."

You know... I never thought I'd be voted out first... but I always expect to win, too... better luck next time, I guess...

[Path-Shaper]

You come to the next placard and it reads,

Shadow (Shinrei)

Alkend says, "Shinrei and The Dude out so early? Talk about luck for the rest of us. Not sure why they got rid of him, but I'm glad they did."

Bloody time zones... if only this game worked better for my time zone, I'd probably still be here...

[Path-Shaper]

The next one on your journey is ahead. You read the name and collect the plaque.

Fener (drinksinbars)

"When dibs went out this early," says Merrid, "I was pretty sure the veterans were doomed... three in a row? Good thing he left, he would have been havoc later on."

I'm not surprised they got rid of me... I couldn't follow this stupid game any more than I already was... jerks and their alliances.

[Path-Shaper]

Everyone pauses as they reach the next one. Anomandaris pulls the placard down gingerly and sighs before speaking.

Hood's Path (Trull's Son)

"He was absolutely loyal to a fault... and to be honest, this name could have--maybe should have--been one of us. We got lucky his name ended here when that idol was played." Everyone nods in agreement.

To go out like that, after feeling like I was in control... it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I hope to be back here some day...

[Path-Shaper]

The next wooden board on the torch reads plainly.

D'riss (Tattersail)

Serc says, "Tattersail's had some great moments but she didn't have an idol to play two times in a row and we got her for that. It was strictly business."

It felt like we were on top of the world after that idol was played... only to realize, hey... there are a lot more votes left in this game...

The trial slopes upward toward a hill as you reach the next torch.

Gamelon (Loki)

Alkend says, "Loki... what's there to say? I'm a little surprised they got rid of him so early but maybe he was on the outs in his old tribe?"

My time in this game was brief... so the memory I'll take away from it is that I finally got Peanutbutta to start reading the Malazan books...

You curve around trees and along the path more until you reach the next torch.

Barghast (twelve)

Merrid grabs it and smiles. "Twelve... little buddy. That stone could have been for any of us. Considering he had been on the outs at some point, I'm surprised he didn't flip, but that's life in Survivor, I suppose."

The stupid stone! Argh! I hate this stupid game...

You come upon a new torch and read it.

Kalse (ansible)

Anomandaris speaks, "So Kalse may have been one of the craftiest players in the game, just doomed to fall on the outs in every manner. I think his strong showings in the challenges are what got him voted out by the former Pensador."

I'd like to think that I wasn't outsmarted by these people... just a little outplayed. Still, I had a great time.

The next one makes several people smile.

Liosan (HiddenOne)

Serc speaks up, "He's a little predictable and didn't realize he was getting knocked out by his own tribe until it was too late. It was a huge turning point in the game."

Well, when you have the numbers, I guess some people think it's okay to get sloppy with the math...

You reach the next torch and there are grins and laughs everywhere.

Karatallid (Roldom)

Alkend speaks up, "He had complete control of this game and lost it ever so quickly when his tribe didn't trust him... Wait, he was Roldom? Didn't we think he was Silencer?"

I think the length of the game was my downfall... I wasn't able to keep an eye on things as much as I would have liked to, at the end...
