Jeff waits as the last vote is again cast. This time, Alkend and Karatallid sit very nervously, trying to judge the faces of their tribe mates to determine who voted which way... is anyone likely to flip their vote to avoid the prospect of drawing a stone? Or do current loyalties and promises hold true?

Jeff retrieves the urn again and states, "Once again, I will read the votes. If we are still tied, we go to stones." And he removes the lid and pulls out the first slip of paper.

"Alkend," he reads. Alkend doesn't say anything.

"Karatallid," Jeff says, reading another vote. Karatallid is also silent but his hands are up by his head and he is looking at the ground, as if he were too scared to face the vote itself.

Jeff looks into the urn and gets another vote, reading, "Alkend."

Alkend looks at the handwriting... was that person's vote for Karatallid last time?

"Karatallid," comes Jeff's voice, knocking Alkend out of his reverie. "That's two votes Alkend, two votes Karatallid."

Jeff goes back for another vote and reads, "Alkend." Alkend is rubbing his hands together now.

Jeff's face is a mask of stone and he fetches another paper. "Karatallid. We're tied again." Karatallid has not moved much and remains staring at the floor.

"Alkend," Jeff states, reading yet another vote. Alkend does not respond.

"Karatallid," says Jeff, reading the vote. The vote a frowning-face emoticon upon it. "We're tied again. Four votes Alkend, four votes Karatallid, two votes left."

Jeff reaches in and reads the ninth vote. "Alkend." Alkend is clearly nervous... he knows that one more vote will send him home. Karatallid finally looks up, knowing he won't be going home today.

Jeff reaches into the urn for to get the last vote. Karatallid can be heard softly muttering, "C'mon... c'mon..."

Jeff opens the vote briefly and reads it to himself.

"Karatallid," reads Jeff Probst. Karatallid swears and Alkend audibly sighs.

"We are tied again. Five votes Alkend, five votes Karatallid. That means we go to stones. Here's how this will work..."

"I have with me a bag full of white stones." Jeff shows the bag and pulls out a stone showing its pearly hue to everyone. Inside this bag, is also one black stone. Jeff pulls it out and shows it to the crowd. There is no mistaking the color of the rock."

"Because you could not determine who to vote out, both Karatallid and Alkend are safe tonight. In addition, Kalse won immunity and is also safe. The rest of you will draw a stone from this pouch. If you draw the black stone, you will be effectively voted out of this game. You will draw one stone without looking and hold it in your hand. When I say so, you will hold your hand out, palm-side up. Then, at the same time, you'll all open your hands. Whoever holds the black stone will need to bring me their torch."

"Tonight, one of you will be very upset that you did not switch your vote. It's time to find out who it's going to be."

And Jeff puts the two example stones into the bag, gives it a few shakes for good measure, and approaches Anomandaris to draw one out of the bag...

I will show you all of the numbers I use here to ensure you all trust the result that I come up with.

You will each be assigned a number, 1 through 9 (Alkend, Kalse, and Karatallid are all exempt from this process). I will do this with random.org's sequence generator. I will go alphabetically to determine everyone's number.

Generated sequence: 3 9 8 5 7 4 2 1 6
--Timestamp: 2011-04-27 16:58:06 UTC

Players, alphabetically: Anomandaris, Barghast, Eloth, Liosan, Okaros, Merrid, Ruse, Serc, Tulas Shorn

Thus your numbers are:

1. Serc
2. Ruse
3. Anomandaris
4. Merrid
5. Liosan
6. Tulas Shorn
7. Okaros
8. Eloth
9. Barghast

Now, I will use the integer generator to generate a single number in that range (1-9). Whoever gets the bad number is out.

Drum roll...

Random Integer Generator

Here are your random numbers:

9

Timestamp: 2011-04-27 17:02:51 UTC

Jeff instructs everyone to hold out their hand, palm-up and then says, "On the count of three, everyone open your hand. One... two... three!" Palms open and while eight sighs of relief can be heard... one player is deathly silent.

Barghast walks heavily up to the podium and hands Jeff Probst his torch. Moments later, Jeff says, "Barghast... the stones have spoken," and snuffs Barghast's torch.

Jeff then adds something else. "Barghast, you are the first member of our jury. Head down the steps and follow the path to Ponderosa where you will await until our next Tribal Council."

Barghast was the seventh person "voted" out and is the first member of the jury. He may say one final thing, if he wishes.

Barghast will head to Ponderosa for the remainder of this game. The password to this forum will be changed in the very near future and all remaining players will get the new password. All further Tribal Councils will be conducted in the Tribal Council forum only.

Well my final words other than that Sucks!!!!....

Low man on the thinkers totem pole, think of flipping very soon because our tribe isn't as tight as you think. There are at least 3 different factions that I know of so your chances are much better over here.

Jeff nods at Barghast and says, "It's time for you to go."

All suppressed alliance communication is now lifted, you may talk privately again

All players gain +1 Morale prior to TC's end. All players lose 1 Morale with TC's conclusion.

His name was Barghast.
