Pensador cheers wildly for Fener. Merrid descends the bridges looking highly dejected.

Moments later, both tribes are gathered back on their mats.

Jeff says, "An exciting challenge to start us off... Pensador, you snuck that one at the end and win this..." Jeff shows off a well-created statue of jade, obsidian, and stone. "You are safe tonight, nobody going home. In addition..." Jeff pulls out the Flint from his pocket and tosses it to Pensador. "Nobody from your tribe going home tonight." Smiles and cheers abound from Pensador's tribe.

Jeff Probst then turns toward Dureza, "Close isn't quite close enough in this game... tonight, you're going to Tribal Council where one of you will be the first person voted out of the game of Survivor. It should be an interesting evening. I'll see you at Tribal Council."

Both tribes may offer final words before this thread is closed. Pensador may use the Tribal Council phase to do any final business for the cycle. Dureza will conduct all Tribal Council proceedings in their Tribe thread.
