Jeff the only explaination for Alkend is that he has to be an olympic class swimmer. Or that Alkends portion of ocean was spiked with speed and not LSD.

I blame Fener for losing that necklace which was rightfully mine, being the devious, hateful, malicious alt that he is.

Jeff smiles at the various rebuttals and then says, "You are divided into two tribes. Dureza, in red, and Pensador, in blue. Here..." he tosses a scroll of paper toward each tribe, "are your directions to camp. You've got a long walk ahead of you, so you had better get moving."
The Challenge has ended. The thread will be locked shortly. Please say your last comments and then head to your Tribe's threads.

Groggily wakes up and finds he has been tied up in a boat. After a few minutes struggle he manages to untie himself (saving the rope) and wanders outside to see the boat adjacent to a breath takingly stunning beach.
looking out accross he sees a group of people, looking sullen, and two others looking smug and superiour. He slips of the boat and wanders into the sullen crowd, pretending he had been there all along
(sorry i missed the challenge, was sleep time for me here)

"C'mon in guys!" Jeff Probst calls you in to your waiting mats. Each tribe sizes up the other group. It's hard to get a good feeling just from the initial challenge and this meetup, but you feel both tribes are fairly well matched.
"You guys ready to get to today's challenge?" Jeff asks, his hands on his hips.
Everyone smiles and nods, with a few, "Yeah!"s thrown in for good measure.
"Today you will use your experience as a new tribe to see how well you work together. On my go, you will race out in teams of two to grab a series of large blocks. Once one pair brings the blocks back to the mat, the next pair can go. When you have all of the blocks, you will work together to build a series of totems out of those blocks. Each totem will then fit into a specific hole in the ground behind you. Those totems will line up to form a make-shift bridge. One person will then need to climb up a ladder onto the first totem and then cross the totemic bridge. On the other side of the bridge is a platform with a rope and an axe. Pick up that axe and chop the rope. Doing so will raise a flag. First team to raise their flag wins. Wanna know what you're playing for?"
"Yes!" everyone says excitedly.
"Today, the winning tribe will receive fire in the form of flint." Jeff Probst brandishes a piece of flint from his pocket. "In addition, the losers will go to Tribal Council where someone will be the first person voted out of this game."
The tension is suddenly palpable... someone will be going home... will it be you?
"I'll give you a minute to strategize and then we'll get started."
You are participating in a Reward + Immunity Challenge.
A) Challenge Leg 1
A1) The first part of the challenge appears to heavily favor Strength and Endurance.
A2) It will take five "trips" to gather all of the materials.
A3) You must form pairs of two and decide in which order team pair will go retrieve the blocks.
A4) The same player may participate in multiple pairs, but no player can go in back-to-back retrieval runs.
A5) Furthermore, repeat runs will carry a -2 Endurance penalty for each additional run. You must balance this penalty against your tribe's weaknesses and strengths to determine how you will do the runs.
B ) Challenge Leg 2
B1) The second part of the challenge appears to heavily favor Strength and Intelligence.
B2) All players will participate in this part of the challenge equally. Player should indicate as part of their strategy if they are participating by adding their Strength or Intelligence.
C) Challenge Leg 3
C1) The third part of the challenge appears to heavily favor Endurance.
C2) Only one player may participate in this part of the challenge. You should indicate which player it is as part of your strategy.
You are required to come up with a plan for completing this challenge and then report back in this thread when completed.
1) Indicate all 5 pairs and in which order they will run for the blocks
2) Indicate which statistic each player will use in building the totemic bridge
3) Indicate which player will complete the final leg of the challenge
You may freely talk with the other tribe in this thread.
18 players remain.
Dureza Tribe - Alkend, Anomandaris, Barghast, D'riss, Hood's Path, Kalse, Merrid, Serc, Tiamatha
Pensador Tribe - Eloth, Fener, Gamelon, Karatallid, Liosan, Okaros, Ruse, Shadow, Tulas Shorn

Rule clarification
The -2 Endurance penalty will persist for the remainder of this Challenge. It also stacks with itself. So if you have someone running the blocks back three times (runs 1, 3, and 5), they'll suffer a -4 Endurance penalty for the last run and that will stay for Challenge legs 2 and 3.
Keep in mind that you all only have 9 people and it takes 10 to make all 5 runs. You are probably going to have to decide if you want to have everyone run it once and one person run it twice (and thus whoever you put at the last leg will carry the -2 penalty), or if you want to say, have only 8 people run it, with 2 running it twice, saving the 9th person solely for the last leg of the challenge. You'll complete the first part slower, but it may have an overall net benefit.
That's part of the fun... figuring out the best usage of your resources. =)

Good thing I brought my SURF BOARD as my luxery item.
Cruisin' to the island in style - impressin' all the chicks...
Ok...that's what I'd do if I believed for a second that PS would allow it.
(This is what I think as I stroke towards shore, silently thanking my mother for those swimming lessons long ago)
