In tCG, the Azath House in the Refugium is ruined when the dragons come through, right? Was it completely killed? That is how I remembered it. If so, does that mean there's a possibility that Scabandari Bloodeye's soul is now free? Silchas stuck him in the Azath in RG. If he was freed, would his soul have been caught up in the dragons' Storm? I don't remember any mention of him either way, but it would certainly be interesting if old Scabby was now free again, even without a body.
Either way, I found Scabs to be one of the more interesting characters that has so little screen time and I hope to see more of him in the Kharkanas trilogy.

You know, this didn't even occur to me, and I think it's damn well worth talking about. Especially since it's likely that Ruin knew the Azath was going to die (he knew the Eleint were coming, etc) and we don't see him considering/speaking to the possibility that his most hated foe's fate will surely be tied up in that somehow.
Then again, Scabby's soul was in a Finnest before it was Azathed. So even with the Azath dead, there's the matter of him not having a body, etc.

Until we hear something else, I reckon that the Azath fed on Scabbies soul to grow, leaving nothing left. Scabby is deeeeeeaaaad!

Well, he was already dead. But when Killy delivered the final blow, rather than his soul passing through Hood's Gate (or equivalent), Gothos snared it in the Finnest first. But would that soul necessarily continue through Hood's Gate (or equivalent) once the Azath is destroyed? Very interesting...

Scabbies soul was necessary to feed the Azath inside Kettle. I don't think he was just imprisoned in there. The power of his soul was a sacrifice that fed the initial growth spurt, just like the Finnest Azath fed on Raest strength. I don't think there was anything left of Scabby after the finnest was planted in Kettles chest.

Don't have my copy of RG handy ATM, but doesn't Silchas think to himself when we saw him after the Refugium battle (the scene before he wings it for Letheras) that even though he wanted to kill Scabby he would settle for an eternity of imprisonment as an acceptable exchange? Need quote fu...

When Ruin stabs Kettle with Scabby's Soulful Dagger he mentions putting Scabby into eternal imprisonment as a fitting revenge for delivering the same to Ruin in the past. Scabby must have survived the birth of the Azath. His soul - even without a body - was powerful enough that everyone seemed to want it.
