What happens to Errastas? Did I miss something? Rate Topic:

Salutations.

I recently finished the book but can't for the life of me figure out what happened to Errastas. Did Draconus chop him into tiny bits? Is he still out there?

I'll be re-reading the book soon, but wanted to know about this. :rolleyes:

After they freed the Korabas he went his own way, Killymandaros and Sechul were never interested in following his attempt at resuming the old ways. We don't know where he went, but we do know that Oponn will seek him out.

There'll probably be some eventual confrontation with Paran, where Paran pulls out a tile and breaks it in half killing the Errant or something similarly anti-climatic.

I got the feeling that Oponn were going to have a hand in it. Whether they just greet him at the gates or pursue him i don't know but I think they mentioned spinning the coin and both sides having the same face.

I think old Errant Boy is going to feel the Lord's Push ... right into Draconus' path just when Errastas is least ready for it. Then Setch can greet him beyond the gate and say, "Told you it was a bad idea."

Avoid being seen as racist by saying, "I'm not a racist, but ..." prior to making a racist comment.

Errant runs for it. Oponn are in pursuit, which opens this interesting notion of luck and destiny in conflict. But you didn't miss anything.
