Hi -

Is it possible to get trade paperback versions of all of Erikson's and ICE's Malazan books? The more recent books seem easy enough, but Amazon is failing me with stuff from Deadhouse Gates through, say, Reaper's Gale. I have seen versions of Steve Stone's artwork for all of the books, but they are for mass market paperback or just Bantam UK or whatever. Perhaps Tor has plans to release everything with consistent artwork and layout?

Thanks.

The artwork situation is a little complicated. I think it was Reaper's Gale when they changed the style of the covers, to a single figure and a bit of background colour. At that point they also re-did the previous books with new artwork in that style. Other than Deadhouse Gates, which is the only book in the entire series to have kept the same art in every single English edition.

Basically, the earlier books were already in Mass-market paperback by the time the covers were changed, so there is nothing in that new style as a Trade Paperback for Gardens of the Moon all the way through to The Bonehunters.

However, if you want the original trade paperbacks up to that point, I can give you the ISBNs very easily, as I have all of them :(

Gardens of the Moon - 0593044703

Deadhouse Gates - 0593046226

Memories of Ice - 0593046242

House of Chains - 0593046269

Midnight Tides - 0593046285

The Bonehunters - 0593046307

I would always check that the dimensions are right before buying though, just in case. Should be about 24cm x 15cm.
