Paran lands in Kolanse at the time Picker sees him in TtH. He's in the fort when Setch suggests to Errastas they could get him, while he has bloody-ear syndrome from Draconus' return. By the time we see him in TCG, that event was some time in the past, so he got over it. Everyone with power was hurting when Drac returned, but it wasn't a permanent thing.
As for Errastas going looking for him, maybe he couldn't get there because of the FA and the presence of Akhrast Korvalain.

Avoid being seen as racist by saying, "I'm not a racist, but ..." prior to making a racist comment.

A very possible explanation, but also unlikely since Errastas and co. were later shown to be uneasy allies with the FA - there's no way the FA would've obstructed the Errant from going to take out Paran, who was being a huge pain in their pasty white cheeks, with their warren.
That whole exchange in DoD and the fact that it wasn't touched on or explained at all in tCG is somewhat puzzling.

Re: that exchange in DoD: They never suggest that Errastas is going to directly face off with Ganoes, and when Errastas departs he is actually going to go find Calm. They refer to it obliquely, as one of Sechul's kids who's been stuck under a rock, something like that -- but he isn't in any way planning to duke it out with Paran right there and then.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I got the feeling it was only Calm who had allied with the EG. Cant remember why but I remember the senior FA (who I thought wa Calm from the TOR excerpt btw) sending Calm somewhere and then regretting it thinking he/she had played into Calms hands, though admittedly this could be Icarium.
Also could Parans ear bleeding not be caused by him breaking into Ahkrast Korvalain from Aren. Hes master of the gates but still it took the Perish years to fashion their gate and Paran did it on his own.

Agreed. It was never implied that Errant was going to attack MoD. Also, bleeding from the ears didn't imply actual physical harm.

Yeah only Calm is allied with the EG. At one point Sechul mentions that Calm is giving them info but he doesn't trust her. It0's pretty clear, anyway, that Calm had a different plan than that of the ELder Assail

There are some stretches here, I think. I'm not suggesting that the Errant was going to arm-wrestle Paran, but Sech very clearly implied that Errastas should "strike at him" after a fashion, whether directly or indirectly. When he departs, he says that the Holds are a mess but he'll find one that works - Sech asks him which one he'll seek, and he says "Why, the one under a Jaghut stone, of course." I hardly think this constitutes a reference to Calm since they were very clearly talking of the Holds, oblique or otherwise, and I don't remember Sech or anyone saying anything about seeking out "one of his kids."
At the end of the day though I do agree with you that the most likely explanation is that the venture to "strike at the Master of the Deck" culminated in Sech and Errastas bumping into Calm and allying with her. I just don't think that was necessarily their intent when they set out.

I disagree with that, at least in part. They mention the Holds right before taking their leap because they will be traveling them, but the question "Which one will you seek first?" has no reason to be about the Holds since they don't need to "seek" them out. I think they were indeed speaking specifically of Calm, and doing it in a typically SE roundabout way. What they are saying isn't entirely what they are talking about. The characters know what they're referencing and so have no reason to tell the audience.
That said, earlier in the conversation Sechul, at least, is telling Errastas he needs to "strike" Paran quick and early, and Errastas agrees, so the ambiguity is certainly there about the urgency of their time frame.
