Jernau, feeling the weight of his bulging purse throbbing inside his skill threw down fifty credits with a slight smile of contempt attempting to spread across his face. To everyone else he looked just as slack jawed, and debrained, but in side he was smirking, honestly. He waited for a response, and he waited some more, and well he waited even longer until almost a whole day had gone by and he considered the possiblity he was playing some weird waiting game variation on damage when suddenly some chips and another life arrived on the deck. Eyes not widening in the slightest, smile not showing at all he was neeedless to say a gleeful little bastard doing a jig on the inside and a doddering humanoid in a drool stained jumpsuit on the outside. Expecting the third player to pounce, he hadnt counted on that player not turning his cards over, he hadnt counted on someone going in half cocked and playing blind.

Because they were not playing blind, they just were blind. Oh well, patience is a virtue :)

Jernau bets 50

Kraiklyn is all in and drops another life into the pot to make up the difference.

in goes merrid  and possibly the person above him. Jernau is in a strong position, this suggests they have good cards to bet from, or they are using the 50 credits they got from Tellans death

i'm assuming that the majority of Jernau would be on this train and it will not help their faction.

Why assume that?

because they have the most players, day will never end until the votes come in and now that all bets are in i should just be lynched so the next bets can happen and we see where we stand. The FM are doing a great job at the moment, no one suspects you whoever you are, well done.

well, now that I actually read the Day 2 scene, the game makes sense ore or less. hooray.

I agree with Silanah in the statement that Amp is unlikely to be Zakalve. at this point that is all my brilliance has to offer.

I also think there might be a connection b/w Sorrit, Amp and Rashan, hidden in that Day 1 "zen" spam. could be signalling. meh.
our options at this point are either to look for Zakalve to beat them when they're down (though that offers Jelungas a chance to get ahead even more with a precise kill or a good hand.
or look for the FM, b/c well, we all want them dead. though they are best hnted once jumped.
or we can tryto find the jelungas to cu their majority down.... all are paths we've followed in these types of games before.

Ah, this brings back memories. He's an Eater! Get him!

are you secretly an underpants gnome?

amp was quiet yesturday compare to today, now hes making all sorts of waves.

maybe its because he knows that after tonight he will jump to a different alt so hes making as much as noise as possible so that he can slip into his next alt quietly

Vote Amp

Bet 10

This is just nonsense. Ampelas certainly wasn't quiet yesterday and he should be lauded for being the only player to make waves today. Or would you have preferred another day with half hearted dragon sex. Now, I still hold that Ampelas' he-changed-his-avatar-he-must-be-a-newt line of reasoning on day 1 was suspicious, but it's ridiculous to consider making waves to be a bad thing at this point in the game.

The only player who benefits from no waves is the FM.

Glad I checked the thread before I went to bed.

vote Ampleas

8 credits

he is either on another team so, good. He might be a FM.. so good, he might be on my team but is playing really bad, so good. I have no problem with this vote.

Another bollocks vote for sure. It's easy to use the bad play argument as it has been touted again and again, yet any application of thought should result in the realisation that Ampelas' play has not been bad at all. Ergo, those who make the above claim are just parroting the reasons of other players, which in a regular game would scream killer. However, as we're in a faction game it's harder to accuse people of dishonest play. Or, there should be plenty of dishonest play but that will necessarily only show that the people playing are playing for their team.

At the same time, seeing how we cannot know the identity of all our team mates, such blatantly weak reasons for voting are suspicious for other reasons than just dishonesty.

yeah i do find it weird, Fener you may as well hammer and get the credits

I'm thinking that might be the only thing that will get this game moving out of its stagnant hole, since clearly no one else is getting lynched. I guess even if you're on my team it's probably better to collect some chips off your lynch than to let it go to another.

although if the remaining players voted for silanah then that would make it a silanah lynch for sure and day doesn't end until a majority is reach or everyone has voted

Perhaps. We'd be looking at a very long day though.

i know this, but if you believe me to be on your team then an alternative vote could swing momentum and prevent all the people who thought they'd cash in on my vote from taking more monies. You don't have to bet credits none of your do, but they would lose their credits wouldn't they? This could be win win for all people who vote against silanah, look at the size of the amounts they paid

in fact i haven't even thought about this until now, look at some of those bets, 10 credits, 8 credits etc etc, as a life we only start with 10, so where is all their money coming from? unless they thought me a definite lynch, then by lynching silanah they would lose their credits. no one would have to bet credits by voting for me, so they would have nothing to lose!

You've as much as admitted your faction, the only people who would prefer the Silanah vote are those on your team, and you've also stated there's probably at least one or two on your train. *shrugs* A Sil lynch is highly unlikely in my mind.

highly unlikely but not impossible, also you would not be losing any credits because you do not have to bet to vote. either way it is me or silanah going today, you could avoid and vote for someone random and that would also end the day because a majority would be reached. if i have as good as admitted my faction then you at least know your leader and one other player in this game, regardless of anything, you know what faction i am in and what faction you are in, so come end game you could use that to your advantage, all of you can. No one knows who Silanah is or what faction he/she is in. You'd gain more information on her lynch than mine.

This game may put me off using trains as a means of transportation for life.

I don't think Amp has done much really, except for an excess of rage, and a willingness to shake things up, which doesn't seem to be a reason to lynch him to me.

Once we find out what faction silanah is on or if she is fm then we can see why Barghast was so in love with her and why those two partnered or agreed with each other, we'd have a lot more information. I have not hid from who i am, and i'll be the same throughout this game, i am less of a liability but silanah is an unknown

when in mafia have we ever seen a complete turnaround, 7 votes to 1. I'm at L1.

How awesome would it be if we turned it around

on so many levels it would be awesome.

i'm thinking that this game could be remembered for the whole reversal of a lynch to start with. I'm a life. it doesn't matter what faction, i'm probably in the betting pot anyway.

We do not know what Silanah is, she could be a captain, a second or an FM. There is more possibility her being one of these than me, no one with this role could be me.

they tried to lynch me in my sleep, not even face to face. i was on all day, they could have voted then but they chose to wait until i had gone from the thread. its like a back door stabbing.

i'll give you another reason, i'm here in the day time, alot of the stuff went on when we where away from thread, when i'm gone I cannot interact with you sorrit, or you fener. I have posted quite a lot where as silanah only started posting after i called her on her two posts. other than that she didn't post much did she? only to point a finger at me, and coerce others into thinking i was the best vote, barghast jumped on and voted her and omtose vote was just so very weird

Now that's a little paranoid and highly unlikely. No one waited until you were asleep, things just got rolling at that point. Sure it might be a result of you not being around to contest it, but that was likely not intentional. Unless of course all the other players are communicating and it's really a everyone vs ampelas game. I understand you don't want to be lynched but that's perhaps a tad too dramatic don't you think?

The thing with Silanah is that most of us don't know whether she (he? it?) is our captain or not. I believe you when you claim to be a life. You may be on my team, you may not, but at least I'm pretty sure your not one of the important roles. Silanah on the other hand; how would I know?

a) Possibly, but legendary status of one game doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be done. If we accept your arguments you could be a life certainly, alas, put the world is a stage and we are but it's players.

 Nope we don't. But then, I could say I was actually a smoking monkey writing this text, and it could indeed be true, but my own word probably wouldn't be trusted by all. And again you could be whispering sweet nothings in my ear as you slide the knife in, and move on to another persona/your captain's bet saves your life. One faction being all in does not denote their hand strength when forced all in, only the measure of their situation. K's ain't out of this yet.

c) You thought there was honour in Mafia?! Still I like you rabble-rousing injured pride line, that should work well for you.
