I'm just doing a quick read-up, don't have much time just now. I don't think I'm going to have much time tomorrow, either, though. So I'm going to get my vote in now:

There's a lot going for an Amp lynch. There's the notion of his FM-obsessing being potentially indicative of him in fact being one. There's him reacting over OMGUS-ly to Silanah's pressure which comes off to me as an act of desperation, either because he's intentionally trying to draw attention or because he really is scared of being lynched but thinks everything will be fine if he makes it through the day. The latter would indicate FM, the former a symp-like behaviour. But there are no symps in this game, and someone as blatant as that is not going to be useful to any faction, probably the one to get traded back and forth at the bottom of the chain. His tendency to throw out his one and only vote on stupid little things like my avatar switch or the slightest bit of OMGUS to Sil means he won't be useful to the factions in eliminating the FMs, either.

And lastly, the one that strikes me the most, is that Amp "outed" GL without any such need, and then passes it off as possible "distancing". I would rather lynch Amp then allow for the possibility of him being on my team or trading to my team and then "outing" my faction just to "distance" from me, either.

I'm also leaving for awhile and I don't want to miss the vote like last time. I think Barghast makes good points about Amp, especially his voting. He really made a point of calling other people's votes "random" when the Tiam train was getting started, but his own votes seem like he's just trying to see what sticks. And anyone who says "it doesn't bother me too much if I'm lynched" probably deserves to be lynched. I think the winds are changing and an Amp lynch is in the cards (ouch, puns...).

What is it about Sil's 50/50 that people don't get? I assume he thinks Amp isn't Z faction, and Sil seems to be admiting he is also not Z faction. Therefore, it's 50/50 that Amp and Sil are in opposite factions. Less than 50/50 with the chance he's FM, obviously. He might be the "green OO" in roulette.

But I agree, with Ampblatantly pointing out a likely Zakalve, any non-zakalve has a greater than 50% chance of hitting someone not on their team. this is augmented slightly, byt he fact that Jelungas have one more that Cracklins.

yeah, I brought that up.
thing is, in games past, we haven't had the betting to top this off.
this makes a possible reversal possible.
if Zakalve goes all in and trips up, grabbing 2 more lives, Craclin becomes the weak party to be hunted.
besides, there's always the off chance that GL's vote truly was a random one. unlikely, and weak, i know, but it's there. for all his posturing and implications of "distancing" at this point Amp vote has more certainty as to who he might be.

This is just a repetition of already made points. Not to mention they're not very well made. For one, every life is a symp to another player. Now they're not called a symp, in that you're absolutely correct and I salute you. However, I'd be interested to hear in what way you think they differ from that most nefarious of roles.

Or perhaps you just needed to say something and that was the best you could find? Are we trying to go with the crowd and not cause waves? Well done.

I personally don't feel that Ampelas is all that dangerous. In fact, as of now he's the only one who's worked to get the thread going and thus providing us with desperately needed information. Then why did you vote for him, Liosan? Because I'm a greedy little bitch that's why.
