First, I buy Ruse's reveal. The math makes sense, anyway. By my count, this is how the hands played out:

>>>>DAY 1

===HAND 1===

Z minus 2[1 lynch, 1 cg death] - total minus 2 [Tiam][Tellan]
K minus 1[1 cg switch] - total minus 1 [Ampelas]
J plus 1[1 cg switch] - total plus 1[Ampelas]

>>>>DAY 2

>>>>DAY 3

===HAND 2===

Z minus 1[1 cg switch] - total minus 3 [Ruse]
K plus 2[2 cg switch] - total plus 1 [Ruse][Sorrit]
J minus 2[1cg switch,1 lynch] - total minus 1 [Sorrit][Ampelas]

===HAND 3===

Z minus 1[1 cg switch] - total minus 4 [Fener]
K minus 1[1 cg death] - total even [Sorrit]
J plus 1[1 cg switch] - total even [Fener]

>>>>DAY 4

===HAND 4===

Z minus 2[2 cg death] - total minus 6 [ELIMINATED][Rashan][Liosan]
K even - total even
J minus 2[1 cg death, 1 lynch] - total minus 2 [Fener][Korabas]

That was up until last night, anyway. I was planning to vote for HP anyway, to be honest, but I wanted to go over everything before giving my vote (I guess caution has been the keyword this game). Based on his sudden, manic defense and now other's vote, I have to lay the hammer. (Especially since there is no more faction switching.)

@HP - Barghast was slippery & hard to pin down

You really think he was the FM and has jumped instead of getting cashed out in the card game?

I realize now I wasn't clear (due to my rush this morning) - what I meant was your defense of Korabas's reveal and then the certainty that the FM was still out there. I dunno, your whole approach to analyzing post-Korabas FM stuff just struck me wrong. That was the mania I was talking about.

I wasn't sure about Barghast but probably would have agreed with you about his team. We'll never know if we kill the FM, so it makes it hard for me to speculate. I also don't think we've seen a jump; every death seems easily explained by the card game.

Yes I think that barghast was the fm and he gas jumped. I don't know if we will see evidence of his jump. Especially if he timed it right. Which he did going from barghast to his next victim.

I knew that the fm had to be either ruse or barghast. Everything that you pointed out about ruse I applied to barghast. It seemed to fit correctly. At the beginning of the game he was definitely in the j faction. Then with the korbas lynch and with his vote today I thought that he had been transfered over to k. Ruse with his wushu warshy vote toss on the almost merrid lynch really made me think thst he was The fm trying to fake out both teams.

I was pissed about the korbas lynch cause it put us in the position that we are in now. Not knowing if the fm is dead or alive. Plus I didn't see where korbas said that he knew faction. All I saw him say was that he had cleared people. Which I assumed ment that they werent the fm. As such his lynch made no sense. If anything you guys should have locked the lynch so that korbas could have had another day to find the fm. That is what I was pissed about. Well still am. I don't mind losing be ause of mistakes that I make but to lose to a fm because you guys could see past your noses that is irritating.

Well, my understanding is that Ruse came from Team Z, not J. Ruse has said multiple times he was never on Team J. The waffling vote seemed more like a Life waiting to see his masters vote, but at the same time the lynches were pretty far along. Slightly suspicious, I suppose.

Someone will have to explain the FM mechanics to me. I thought the actions were resolved at night - that is, when Day ends due to a lynch. And we haven't had a lynch since Korabas, but it seems obvious that K won the card game and the Life wagered by J (Barghast) would be cashed in (dibs said no more faction switching, all Lives get cashed). So how could the FM ever jump except after night resolution?

Also, 300 credits?! Fuck me.

I can't understand how you're getting here. Korabas cleared Barghast. If you believe Korabas then you can't possibly think Barghast was the FM. If you don't believe Korabas there was no reason to keep him around and hence no reason to be mad.

What gives?

It could work if Fener used to be the FM, then jumped to Barghast later.

But we haven't had a lynch in between their deaths (i.e., no night). So how was the FM able to use his Prepare/Replace actions?

Yeah, definitely possible, but still.. In the rules it shows the Prepare/Replace actions at the end of the resolution order, which would be misleading if he could use them any time, I think (not to mention OP).

Yes thank you ruse. That is the only thing that would make sense. How else has the fm been able to change treams with out jumping around.

I think that the fm started out on z team, and has moved to all three teams at least once. I know that the fm has started on teams because ps has said that every player is on a faction. I think that korbas and the fm started on different teams. Finally korbas got on the same team as the fm and decided to try to make a play.

It didn't work out but he tried to make it. If barghast was cleared night one then it is very possible that the fm jumped into him. I know that barghast was part of j early then he started voting against it. Then he came up j. See that doesn't make any sense. None at all. Unless he was a fm.

It seems like people think the FM can not only switch teams but also kill someone at the end of a hand OR at night? Just seems way too complicated and overpowered, but I could be wrong. But how does this make sense in light of the game so far? Can the FM not be wagered/traded/cashed at ALL? If the FM can be traded, then we know (or can guess) most of the players who have been traded due to the card game. If he can't be traded (and by extension, can't be cashed in) and just switches teams when he decides, there's no info to even speculate on.

Barghast voted for Tiam (Team J), Ampelas (Team J), and Korabas (Team J). I think a lot of the difficulty is not knowing who's on your team; I don't think his votes prove anything one way or the other. Either he was always J and just didn't know his team members, or he just switched to J invisibly and must be the FM (and the FM has to have these other special abilities...).

Tian was z. Half of j voted for amp. His vote for korbas was the messed up vote. Amp was a mess.
