It was well played by silencer. I give mad props to all of the new players you guys played well. It was a fun game. Momentary episodes of madness excluded. A little slow at times but still a good idea and with a few more tweaks that will get rid of the slow down.

I was banking that team Z would have joined team J to vote out a team K member as Merrid wasn't on either the other two teams. What didn't help my case was that a card game was resolved in the middle of the voting and too many people suspected me of bing team J so that kind of back fired on me.

Another reason that I pushed was I was just plain tired of nothing going on vote wise. The game was going nowhere. I was okay getting killed if my play didn't work. That way I wouldn't have to pay attention to dead thread or a thread that had a bunch of people that refused to take any action. It was driving me crazy.

Well, I made the same argument against you. It seemed clear that you were on Team J (as I was on K). Logically, team Z should have been safe voting for either you or me, but your team had the most players at the time. It's hard to make the argument that you and the little guy should team up against the OTHER little guy when you're ahead. More likely the smaller two will band against you (which is what happened, it seems). That's how I saw it, anyway.

RE: concealing your faction. that's the key to faction games. Which is what makes them so fun.

Yeah, hopefully Shin is alright, but it might be a while before we hear from him - it's an absolute nightmare over there. :S

And that's definitely the key point of difference in a faction game, because you have to play for your team while also concealing that fact. It's hard, but it certainly makes for a change of style. Though when people are changing factions...it's harder because you have no idea what is going on.

Might have to run another carbon-copy of 17, I think...it had faction games pretty much nailed. XD
