MTs is a quote fiend and an unstoppable one at that. Thanks I havent read ROTCG in many moons.

So Ardata is an 'ancient goddess of Jacuruku' which is interesting considering she seems to have a an accessible form to 'liase' with Skinner. Shimmer POV stressing that maybe a 'lesser' vow might bind him to Ardata is very interesting given his likely involvement in the end game.

The conversation (I think its the one were Stoop is killed) that says she has been very generous to US is interesting. May just mean him and Cowl who enjoy a very odd trip to KT for no reason I can remember so maybe something to do with Ardatha. However Skinner was likely over there with a few, possiblly the majority, of his 40 Avowed and from the fact he says us made me think that some of them may be tied to Ardatha also.

In any case well done MTS

Felisin the Fatter has that cult of the Crippled God as well in 7C I believe. Have to believe they have a part to play or else why would SE waste the words. Paran didn't destroy them and I believe he even foreshadows that he might regret not having the ruthlessness to do so.

Cowl was not involved with any happenings on Jacurucku. He was with Shimmer the whole time, fighting the Empire and beating up dragons on Genabackis.

Quote

The Avowed High Mage stood silent for a time, stroked the scars that traced a pearly thatching along his neck. Even more imperious than when he left us is our Skinner. Still, he was powerful even then, and now this Ardata seems to have invested even greater potentialities within him. Why would she have done so and then apparently meekly allow him to go? There is a greater mystery here. And perhaps it would be interesting ... He waved an invitation to proceed.

@epicfantasynerd, Paran also states that he feels it might gravitate away from the CG's influence, and become Unaligned.

Cowl was not involved then but perhaps some of his Avowed he took with him. Im just thinking that maybe one of them might shed some light on the matter in a partial POV in TCG.

Epicfantasynerd- Yeh it seems that cult is going to become its own entity but will still be in the house of chains which TCG set upon the world.

As far as I can recall none of the named Avowed in the other companies join him later on, and since the remark is made when they are just meeting with Skinner, it clearly means the fourty or so Disavowed of the First Company, several of which we know names of (Mara and Shijel, for instance). I don't think it's out of the realms of possibility to see a Disavowed POV. I'd love it in fact, I don't think SE's ever done an Avowed POV before, IIRC the Iron Bars events were all from Corlo or Seren's perspective.

You forgot former Empress Janall who claims to be Queen of Chains.
What happened to her anyway? She hasn't been seen since Nisall's death. Did she drown?

I think Felisin Younger ended up serving when we last saw her in Seven Cities after the plague.

Paran's thoughts at the end of tBH, which is the last we really hear about the card:

I think I need a new card. I think I'll call it Salvation. At the moment it is in the House of Chains' sphere of influence. But something tells me it will claw free of that eventually. Such a taint will not last.

How do you rape a cave? Do you ask, "You want to fuck, yes?" hear the echo come back, "Yes... es... es..." and get your barnacle-gouged groove on?

I wonder if a SE Disavaowed POV would differ alot from ICEs POV in ROTCG?

I cant remember the specifics but I was trying to say maybe Skinner and a handful of others were on Jacuruku and while Skinner was obviously shacking up with Ardatha we may get another POV from that group, possibly one of the two we see ate the end of SW, as Im fairly certain we havnt seen them before.

Unless you get that and im still wrong. Im very tired...
