For those willing to test their management skills and knowledge (last year, it was a very select gathering of worthy individuals), you're welcome to join in the fun.

I've set up a league for the use of a couple of friends of mine and their workmates, I see no reason why I shouldn't add Malazites to the mix.

If you played last year, your account details are auto-remembered.
PM me for the League PIN if you want to join in, I'm the admin so will have to know who's who before I add you.

Count me in Tap, i'm in work at the mo and a bit busy so i'll PM you later today.

Oh and can everyone make more of an effort this year, my legs were really tired after the ass kicking I gave you all. :p
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

Sent out the PINs to all of you, but haven't seen anyone show up on the league table of Llamas and Aardvarks yet.

Ok my initial first XV is up and subject to change ! Sheesh there are so many injured players floating around at the moment, predicting anything at all is proving difficult !

There are only 5 teams at the moment but that should become 6 when Tiste finally puts down that rotting corpse and signs up :w00t:

MOAR TEAMS !

AS far as the actual tournament goes, I genuinely fancied Wales this year but that went out of the window with the loss of Adam Jones, Gethin Jenkins and virtually the entire bench to injury.Mid table mediocrity beckons. I'd like to see Scotland do well this year as they are more than capable. They still haven't got any backs worth a toss but their forwards have been outstanding lately. I fear however that they may choke as usual, the match against the Frenchies is vital. Ireland are a bit meh at the moment and half of their first XV is injured, age may have also caught up with a few of their stalwarts. Italy will have improved again, but again their downfall will be yellow cards, no attacking intent and an ability to only play flat out for 50 mins. Which leaves a dogfight between France and England for the championship. There will be no Grandslam but as much as it pains me to say it, I fancy England for a Triple Crown........

I have my ticket for Wales v England next Friday night, I also have a table booked at Hooters for pre-match booze and Buffalo wings :p. I fear I may have to drink copiously to fight off the chilling and impending sensation of a possible England victory in Cardiff........NOOOOEESSS !
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.

Unless the Irish injury crisis is solved before they play France, France is going to win it, I think, despite the clobbering Australia gave them. Parra and Trin-Duc are even better than they were last year.
Italy has Parisse back, I think that will make a massive, massive difference. I mean, maybe they'll even nearly win twice, this time around :w00t:

edit: I'm waiting for two mates of mine to turn in their teams, altho one has a good chance of being on a conference half the world away at any given time, so he may give it a pass.
The Saffers who played last year basically said after the competition that they don't know enough about euro rugby to give a shot at winning.

Piffle !

What a bunch of whingeing fannies and typically South African, if they can't poison the opposition or cheat their way to victory they spit their dummies and don't want to play :w00t:

The massive number of injuries and general inconsistencies of all the sides involved makes the 6 Nations a lottery at the best of times, more so this year. As long as you have a vague idea of who is half decent in a certain position you have a chance. Check the official website to look at squads and current injuries, check some match reports from the Nov internationals and don't pick any Italian backs !

AARRRGGGHHHH !

I've had to change my team 3 times now due to injuries picked up in training and a couple of certain shoe ins ( so I thought !) not even making the bench !

3 days to go and my nerves are starting to jangle. :)

Erm the League PIN you sent me isn't getting me into Llamas & Aardvarks... It's called something like "Firmer et Fidlier" or something...

About time Simeon !

Vincent Clerc and Jauzion don't even make the French bench ! :)

Wood to get his first cap against Wales.

Hook at full back instead of Byrne !?! ( Although I suspect this may be a cunning ruse by Gatland involving Jones going off early, Hook reverting to 10 and Byrne coming on at FB when the game breaks up)

Fitzgerald at fullback for Ireland with Earls on the wing....WTF is going on.

Tis said Byrne is completely out of shape since he came back from injury. I'm disappointed by Jauzion not playing, and to top it off, Poitrenaud will also be benched. Poitre-fucking-naud!?!? Benched?!
