Hi All,

I know there is a topic about her already in the Dust of Dreams forum but I had a quick question that can only be answered by Stonewielder B)

Which warren does she preside over?

in SW it is stated that she is the Mistress of Thyr, which would align her with High House Light - except in the Deck of Dragons she is the Queen of Life.

As well, she has been associated with D'riss (Leoman and Dunsparrow are said to be hiding in the warren of D'riss in book 6) and in book 3 she's said to have a link with Burn - presumably this has to do with her "dream" aspect.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It's got me very confused!

Thanks!

It's not D'riss that's mentioned, it T'riss, which is the godesses true name

Queen of Dreams, T'riss, is Queen of High House Life - She holds this position in the Deck of Dragons
She is also Queen of Divination.
Her warren appears to be Thyr - this was also confirmed in NoK.
I don't think she presides over any warren as she is an ascendant human sorceress not an elemental force.
If it's said that Leoman and Dunsparrow are hiding in the warren of D'riss - it could well be either a typo - but on the other hand it's not impossible that she (T'riss) hid them there either so I wouldn't worry about it.

Her aspects (life, divination, dreams) aren't aspects tied directly to particular warrens (D'riss is the path of stone, Thyr is the path of light, Tennes is the path of the land), so she doesn't necessarily need to have a particular warren as her main one. She's a god and an extremely powerful sorceress, so it stands to reason she can manipulate numerous warrens. Even Ammanas, who's aspect is clearly Shadow, and therefore has the Shadow warren(s) as his primary warren, still uses Thyr, Rashan and probably more.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

in fact, using those three warrens you mentioned, d'rek, t'riss could probably create a little pocket warren dreamworld to just chill out and meditate in. which i assume is what she does.

No doubt. I mean, we've seen tons of weird little dream warrens and other mini-warrens. There's nothing to say that all the places of a certain warren, like say D'riss, need to be one big connected realm, and if anyone can create or shape their own pseudo-un-bordered little pocket warren it'd be a goddess!
