Slightly confused I thought this was the cover art for volume 1.

Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

No book for me today :D

I'm a bit peeved with PS actually, order went through with Paypal back in July, but I never got any sort of confirmation from PS. Didn't think to question it back then, but sent them an email using the contact form on their site earlier this month and no one bothered to respond. I expect a little more after spending £100.

How's the reading, any major spelling mistakes like the PS version of RotCG?

What he ^ said - same experience - same timing - same lack of response.

Working from home today and postie leaves a note to say package in recycling bin.....

Yes it is - and well wrapped too - the 2 volume slipcased edition from PS Publishing. Shall see if I can scan the cover of vol 2

Dammit!!! I'm much further south than you Fid. Hopefully my equally well wrapped package will turn up tomorrow. I guess Mrs Paleman will have to go on a solo cider foraging expedition tomorrow as I'm not leaving the house in case I miss the post and they inevitably return the glorious package to Papua New Guinea as they are wont to do on occasions. ARSE!

I had the same problem with RotCG. Mailed my CC number like asked, never received a confirm, never answered my e-mail if it was they received payment, nada, so I assumed it was never received, or the CC number letter and e-mail exp. date were never matched up.

Ordered a second online when they started offering online orders and ended up getting two in the mail. They never responded to my inquires about returning the first one they never confirmed like they were supposed to.

Needless to say, I refuse to purchase anything from PS anymore. Awful service when you're being charged $100+ for a book.

Hmmm, looking at these maps I'm half expecting the Dark One to come striding in from the Blight followed by a herd of Borderlanders after him in turn chased by a section of Aiel and Seanchan.... this is what happens when TOM arrived before Stonewielder thus muddying the waters ;o))

I am having the same trouble - just finished ToM this morning so Stonewielder next in line. Just watch- someone will be raising the standard of the Golden Crane before you know it.

I'm hoping something arrives in the post today or tomorrow, otherwise I'll try calling them to see what's up with my order. Ideally, it'll be waiting for me when I get back from work today. Fingers crossed.

/Yay! I got my copy too. There's already a thread regarding spoilers etc. Please don't post spoilers in thread titles. I will leave this Stonewielder sub-forum in the Forthcoming books forum until the main issue from Bantam is on general release - estimated as 25th November.

Can we have a non-spoiler review/impression thread or something?

I want to read impressions but without plot details, just to read what people think about the book :)
