Well nobody wants to get things going, so I'm going to go ahead. I have been annoyed with Silchas ever since he voted-unvoted me two days ago. It was hasty, it seemed rushed. I mention that because Korabas mentioned that I was in some kind of hurry to exonerate myself from the Ruse reveal, but really, as good/bad a light as that can paint me, it puts a same-but-opposite set of lights on Silchas.

Note how he immediately takes Vengey's reveal as truth based entirely upon the flavor-text scene. We know D'rek likes to hint at things, but we ALSO have good proof that scenes could be intentional red herrings. See the recent bit with the HZ advisor for proof. SR takes the reveal and immediately goes all up on my jock. I also think it's pretty clear that Rashan was NOT responsible for launching the YS Operation. SR could very well be covering up his own executed operation by trying to pin it on Rashan in an attempt to get him and/or me lynched.

Though I would be fine voting for Rashan as well... I can't believe we have, time and again, let people play the newby card and get away with it. Suspect behavior is suspect behavior , regardless of if it's from new or veteran. It's been shown time and again.

Now if my reading of the scene was wrong, enlighten me but what I got from it was....

YS's spy came down the river and met with the HZ officer. They got drunk and in the middle of the night, the YS spy went to the generals desk and found a letter the letter was from the naval comanders saying that Ruse/Vengence was fake working for YS and feeding him disinformation. Then the YS spy got up and left the camp. Did I read this wrong? It was like wading through Caramel trying to get all the names straight. If someone read it a different way, my vote might not make much sense. I am interested to hear others take.

gonna read the night resolution next as that looks tricky too.

Of course, once the new evidence comes to light, SR quickly recants his vote... look at how much text he came up with only to rescind it one scene later. We clearly know about the deceptions in the scenes. It's possible SR doesn't want to keep himself "out there" with a theory that is potentially disproved by the next scene. He

And the Mockra death... the CF is unclear. He was Originally on HZ/XZ he was either defecting, or fake defecting. Regardless, it looks like the HZ/XZ team lost another.

SR eventually makes a point to say that he doesn't want to curb discussion by voting off Rashan so soon. I think he may be in a bit of a hole here if Rashan is really his own partner. Look at this from a neutral standpoint w/ Ruse's reveal. If SR is allied with Rashan, he will want to remove me, believing I'm not allied with Rashan. The only big hole in this is that, if SR is allied with Rashan, that makes SR a non YS.

This is his claim. He did a "find" on Rashan, came up with YS, and (as a secondary effect of the find?) sees that Rashan is "bunking" with me? I'm not even sure what the bunking statement meant. I'm not in any communication with Rashan. It's possibly Ruse had a surveillance role... like, he was able to see Rashan's faction and then see what Rashan was up to... and noticed that Rashan was taking an action on me the night before (in which case I'm doubly inclined to vote him). Vengey isn't always the smartest player when he's angry, so he could have easily misunderstood what his role was.

Bunking is another term for "In bed with" or "In cahoots with" or "On the same side"

Vengey gets pissed, but he always has a good handle on his role. There is 0% chance that he misunderstood what his role was. Half the time his anger is a cover.

Going over that last post of Ruse, trying to get an idea what he was doing..

The possibilities I have thought of are as follows.

If he was HZ and the death scene wasn't a indication of faction but just flavouring to the story. Then did he just pick Rashan and Galain as he thought there were was something off about them and just prayed that he was right and said he was finder so as to make it more likely that a person he thought was YS would get lynched.

If he was telling the truth at all then Rashan was some sort of YS symp.

If Ruse was with YS, this is how I'm reading the death scene and his cf that showed him as a spy, this is an assumption on my part as he cf'd as a spy, he would have been in the enemy camp. Then his play was an attempt to get us to lynch off a HZ player in this case Rashan. Why add Galain to the list? I mean the second we find the cf of Rashan as HZ, it will make us wary of going for Galain based on what Ruse has said. It might have been to add weight to what he said about Rashan and add more weight to us lynching Rashan. In that case anyone name could have been added as being in bed with Rashan.

Or Ruse accused Galain of being allied with Rashan hoping that when Rashan was lynched and cf'd as HZ we might go with the assumption that Galain may be HZ also, but that line of thought only workds if Ruse was YS and knew Galain was YS.

ALso interesting SR posts, the one problem I have is that if SR and Rashan were allied why on earth would SR suggest that Rashan was YS operations master. Clear he either didn't know Rashan or he against Rashan.

The way I reconciled that was by thinking he was trying to offer an alternative to Rashan for a lynch... like, Rashan has used his abilities, go for Galain instead.

Still, the theory looks less viable.

The problem with that is SR would have to be banking on you coming up HZ so as to throw into suspicion what Ruse said. If You came up YS then he fucked Rashan anyway.

Well Silchas hasn't done a whole lot at this point in the game... he's made a few waves but he didn't come back for a lynch on Rashan. He immediately recanted his vote on me. He said he'd be back in the game 6 or 7 hours after his last post, but that 21 or so hours ago.

I'm annoyed that he's sat back and thrown around a few accusations but hasn't really done anything with them. It's pretty easy to do that in a faction game.
