I read with one book in each hand, and one eye on each book.

I haven't actually read Codex Alera. If anyone wants to tell me how it stacks up, that'd be nice. But that's not really why I'm posting.
TotMEBotF.
I can understand the rest, but what is with the E?
The sub-title reads "A tale of the Malazan Book of the fallen".
There's not an E anywhere between malazan and book.

I think it is a bot, it changed strategy when it realised we were on to its clever ruse.

At any rate...
CODEX ALERA is a FU**ING glorious series in the true nature of its incredible author Mr. Jim Butcher.
The first book is a little formulaic, but the second one takes off and the series never stops being awesome after that.

Nonono, you got it all wrong. Take a closer look, the E stands for epic.

I have the entirety of CODEX cued up for December, a bit after STONEWEILDER.
But what does 'at the same time' even mean...? MBF (so THERE!) has been running for just over a decade. Butcher finished Codex within seven years, post SE starting MBF and before he finishes it next year. So do you mean an eyebal on each book, or overlapping read times, in which case MBF has overlapped every single book i've read since about 2003 or so...
Maybe Ot'Tobalakai you want to rephrase the question?
- Abyss, bets the E is for Emu...
