OK, reading back through - I was right about a few things. Barghast was really scum after a point, he just didn't start out that way. And Kalse was recruited, as I'd somewhat suspected. I was really as fucked as I thought I was, still being Inno. And the only people I thought I could trust had likely been taken by the Cult.

And the balance was great, it's just that town played very, very stupid. I don't regret my self-Healings at all.

it's too bad he only use one action per night....

his best bet is "lynch the Eldar, recruit the FM"

if either of those are not done, he will lose.
if they are.... it comes down to luck, b/c the FM can still be a nuisance, especially if for some weird reason he decides to try to kill Rashan (who STILL has 2 BPs)

or if they try to lynch Rashan... and then the second FM jumps into Barghast, and then it's one nid v one Chaos--Chaos wins.

The quick summary:

Eloth cannot win tonight, unless there are multiple kills again
The cult may be able to win tonight
The FMs can win tonight if two are still alive

Without knowing why people died last night, the decision is a bit tougher. eg. if the desperation move you suggested Eloth may have earlier is an until lynched or end of game thing we have to lynch him today. If it is not or does not exist, we should probably lynch someone else. In the latter case, Eloth would be the only possible remaining scum faction that cannot win tonight.

Basically, without some goofy mechanics going on, we can lynch Eloth tomorrow and he will not win (yes, that calls the possibility of a second LP goofy). There is no sure thing, but the best odds may be to leave Eloth for tomorrow.

Nope, Rashan is still inno. him, Silanah and Meanas were supposed to have 2 shared BPs without knowing one another.

so, he's the only human still alive, and he has 2 BPs.

i thought with one more bp and with eloth being lynched that i could ignore him after my 1st failed attempt at killing him...

Barghast has played a great game, when deciding who to kill, most nights it was a coin flip between him and someone else and he always managed to scrape under the radar....that and it would of been one quiet game without him

awesome set up, loved the warhammer theme, and plan on playing more mafia!

As PS noted, the text speak was just a problem because of the FM mechanics. If I went from this, to th1s bcuz n0w i 4m u5ing m4h ph0n3 in the middle of a game with an FM, I'd expect to get called out on it.

In general, if you're on a phone people will let shorthand slide if it's readable.

Dunno how no-one checked the sign-up thread. Especially so since someone stated "there are no newbies in this game" - that has to make you double-check, right? Trust NOTHING from ANYONE, it could ALL be a trap!!!!!1 XD

I had an advantage in knowing Gothos was in, of course, but I noticed the other new names in there too. Wouldn't have changed the supsicious-ness of the texting though.

LOST mafia. One of the original TMDI 10's. People screwed enough with themselves, lol!

I find mod puppets to be iffy half the time. If the mods don't have the time, they low-post and survive way too long (see: CFUM), or if the mods make it too blatant, everybody wastes a day lynching it, which can screw the balance. Even with them, you can only play with people by abusing your knowledge - that can be hard to do without actually giving away anything, and it's hard to get the balance of falsity and true mechanics right from that position too.

The Avatar seems to be the most surprising/confusing thing at the moment. Doesn't seem like it was hinted at all in the setup.
But really, with Eldar we should've expected Khaine play.

Also, no to mod-puppets. NEVER mod-puppets. Mods run a game and guard the mechanics, they do not influence the game.
