It would be awesome if Kruppe starred in tCG for starters as I don't see him being involved, although I do wish for it! Kruppe always has something to say, even when Murrillio died he gave a nice speech. So the sheer audacity of him not having anything to say will leave me bewildered and the reason for him to be speechless would have to be mind blowing!

I'm wondering whether SE may include a section in Darujhistan to show the impact or aftereffects of whatever goes down in Kolanse, along the lines of a sideways epilogue to DG being included at the end of MoI. Paran could return to the Finnest House, K'rul has been seen in Krul's Bar with Kruppe in the past discussing events taking place elsewhere, there's a Temple to the Crippled God in Darujhistan...

All of which is to say, i would laugh myself silly to see that line included, and it's not unthinkable.

And then on-topic: The idea of Kruppe being speechless would be quite shocking indeed. I guess that moment would be when either Kruppe's donkey starts to speak in Kruppe's place, or when Iskaral Pust suddenly says 5 sentences without actually appearing completely mad.
Both are things very unlikely to happen, but SE might just make it so just to scare the hell out of us. Except the talking mule, that wouldn't be scary, we'd have all seen it coming miles away.

As far as Kruppe showing up in tCG is concerned: I'm guessing that the Trygalle Trade Guild will play some nice role again, and I think Kruppe will finally show his true magical prowess and he'll be the dude driving the chariots through all the warrens. Thousands of war-charriots filled with all kinds of nasty fighters, and Kruppe being the only mage on board riding them through the craziest and maddest warrens. And of course his mule pulling it all, no extra horses needed.
But more seriously: I think Kruppe will show up with the TTG in an incredibly crazy and cool fashion. And then he'll hear from Tool what happened to Hetan and Kruppe will... indeed... be speechless.
