I have just thought about the names of characters in tMBOTF and I want to know how many people have had their names changed throughout the series, I will start off with two and then see how many we can find, I know near enough all of the armies have had their original name changed by Braven Tooth, but I mean from the names we know them by to something different ie:

crokus/cutter
fiddler/strings/fiddler

I have just thought of another but will let you have a go.

Iskar Jarak <-> Whiskeyjack
Anomandaris -> Anomandaris Dragnipurake -> Anomander Rake (seriously, I just have to wonder - when did he get "Dragnipur" in his name? Only after getting the sword? Or is that a linguistics thingy?)
Quick Ben -> Adeaphon Ben Delat (well ok, can't say "changed", but we kept getting longer instances of his name throughout the series)

maybe Draconus was so clever or saw so far in to the future he named it after Rake? When Kallor cursed him he knew someone would take it from him, maybe he knew Rake was the only one who could so named it Dragnipur after him?

I was thinking about it because of Characters in DoD, whether or not there will be name changes in the final book. Someone mentioned elsewhere that Korabas could be Tiam or that the name Held is a metaphor, whereas it could be a name for someone reborn or something.

My point is, do you see any body having a revelation that this person is "HIM/HER". An example would be Ruthan Gudd, what is his name and where do we know him from. this is just one example, I am emploring you to find others

just came to mind after I have reread TTH recently.

I am bad at speculations, therefore I mostly do not join in them on this forum. But I have some suspicion that Held is connected to Edur in some way. and I have tried, but get no clue who Ruthan Gudd might be. all I know for 98% is that he will be in TCG. otherwise we would not have had all those scenes with people (not just Skanarow) wondering about his past.

its now when some great names come in, osserc was a great shout Harvester.

I read somewhere, possibly on here, that SE wanted to write the characters POV from lesser characters the ones that will die. So Tarr for example was read a lot on and mentioned quite a bit and then he dies, okay maybe not a great example but I know what I mean up here. (points to his head)

What was Crumble's other name? was it crumble, er, one of the bole brothers, what was his name, my mind has gone blank, its all these cups of coffee!!

Edit: Crump's name, is it Jamber Bole? Crump not Crumble, my apologies!!
