Actually, I'm just trying to do the whole thing without using the communal supplies,
and i'm not moving the mountain, i'm levelling it for supplies, then i'll start to build my tower (on the opposite side of the name, admittedly) behind the name using the material from the mountain i've flattened.

I've now built a tower connecting to it. However, I didn't have time to fix the ladder going down through the tower, so I'm afraid you'll just have to jump through the hole and walk back .. Alternatively build the ladder for me

CF - the server is only up at certain times right now, so you'll need to coordinate with SJ and then log in. He is working on a virtual server thing to try and make it 24/7 , but as of now its not happening. So we take what he can give (thanks again Jim)

Well, I got quite far on my fortress last night, but the shear size of the floor plan and the height I'm aiming for means that even two hours of gathering stone was not enough to even nearly finish it. Got to head down for a while again tonight.

Also built an underground tunnel to it from very close to the spawn point - you'll see a pathway of torches from there, and the entrance is right next to the coast.

Jim, can you use any of the mapping programs to let us see what we have so far?
