I wonder if CF moved the spanw point, I know J and him were talking about it, but I didn't know he did it.

I realized I lied about my location. I am straight WEST of spawn (and slightly north) but you can see my lights when you swim straight west of spawn (there is a bit of ocean out there, watch out for sharks)

Are there actually sharks now? O.o

No, but punting octopi while swimming is hilarious.

Ah yes.

As for moving the spawn point... I dunno, from what I've seen so far, nearly drowning upon entering the world is a fitting introduction.

Stopping the server for a few min to try and change spawn point.

Edit:

Servers back up and I think the spawn has changed, if anyone else wants to test it out by dying without a bed please do - should spawn you close to CFs front door. Still a potentially challenging start what with the creepers that haunt the area but not so bad as drowning.

Spawn has changed, I died and spawned in front of CF's castle.

On the plus side, I now am growing enough wheat to feed teh server :p

I haven't been on for almost a week. I'll hop on this evening and check out what's going on. Need to figure out what to do with my tower, maybe just make it taller for now.

I quickly got fed up with regular cobble structures on the old server. Some smooth cooked stone can do wonders for the look of a place. Takes longer but more satisfying when its done more often than not.

EDIT plus now you can get recoverable smooth stone brick blocks (so misplaced blocks aren't wasted) by stacking 4 in a crafting window at no extra resource cost after you've already cooked the cobble into smooth stone. Makes way nicer walls and gives you a reason to go mining for coal.

hmm... sounds like a plan. I was thinking of doing something in smooth stone, still haven't decided what to do with the tower, but I may rebuild it with smooth stone.

I have enough bread/wheat to feed the server, was going to put a couple stacks in a chest near spawn as vital supplies, CF are you moving the spawn again?

48 eggs, 1 chick. Are you kidding me?

If you need more eggies, my chicken farm is a good place to hang out. I'm collecting stacks of them now.

I did plan on moving the spawn, but I don't think I will now. My tower is as good a place as any to start out.

I plan to modspawn a bunch of bedrock and make a huge platform somewhere nearby (in the forest I suppose) so the creepers can't anniahlate the spawn like they did at previous locations.

Are there plans to run the mod in the future? If you guys have decided to just not do the mod, then I'll probably get back on after I finish with Skyrim.

We are waiting for a stable mod release at the moment. I don't think there is one yet.

There's no release and probably wont be for a while yet - I'm quite enjoying vanilla anyway, my place wouldn't benefit from a solar farm as it is anyway.

Come back on RLY, it's a whole new world!

When was the last time you were on and knew it was there?

And where is your area? Maybe you could point it out on a rendered map or something. It might help to know where the thefts occurred. Were there any steps taken last time there were thefts (or is that what oftenshadow was going on about?)?
