I've already put in the boardwalk, gives us a few new plots that I've fenced off too. The bridge over the bay may want remodelling at some point, to my mind it's a bit ugly but I was keen to get it in. I've reduced path width to 3 down the coast of my plot, if anyone wants to whack it up to 5 feel free. I'll put a new town map up in a little while

u mean the boardwalk is only 3 wide?

If he followed the way I had started it, it is 3 wide for walking with pillars for torches and fences taking up the outer 2 levels.

Boardwalk currently has no lighting pillars on it, may get round to it in a bit. It's a full width of 3 past my place then 5 the rest of the way.

With regards to the farm, we should definitely do something like that, you know half the height of those plots is desert biome though, anyone know how plants do in a desert biome?

RLY and I are working on a subway system too, it's running down the main street.

Oh, I thought the desert biome was farther away. Maybe there's a better spot...like across the bay bridge

Yeah that's the plan, should we have come up with a regular spacing system though, they seem to be quite irregular in places.

Will you be popping on some time, don't think I've seen you all week?

If you complete the road out around Psychokiwi and connect back to the end of my road, the block spacing will be correct again for any plots going farther into the desert biome along Main street.

Are the streets all 5 blocks wide? It's a good size.

I get how the boardwalk is now...I thought you would leave it open on the sea-side though. No problem with the way you did it tho.

Notches solution to the Scrolls debacle.

Quote

Hey, Bethesda! Let’s settle this!

I am back, and I am excited.

Marriage has been wonderful so far, and nobody sabotaged my computer while I was gone.

The only negative thing going on at this moment is the Scrolls trademark lawsuit nonsense, and I think I came up with the perfect solution:

Remember that scene in Game of Thrones where Tyrion chose a trial by battle in the Eyrie? Well, let’s do that instead!
I challenge Bethesda to a game of Quake 3. Three of our best warriors against three of your best warriors. We select one level, you select the other, we randomize the order. 20 minute matches, highest total frag count per team across both levels wins.

If we win, you drop the lawsuit.

If you win, we will change the name of Scrolls to something you’re fine with.

Regardless of the outcome, we could still have a small text somewhere saying our game is not related to your game series in any way, if you wish.

I am serious, by the way.

I removed the fence and the park now spans all the way through to the other side, and I am starting on building a library right between the park and Traveller.

Library...good idea!

Who's going to get all religious on us and start building a cathedral?

If we do that we should make a seriously big one...like 4 blocks...like a proper cathedral town.

What's this about bilingual signs? There's only the one font, how will you make the english 35% smaller?

Depends if I follow federal or provincial laws.
Federal calls for equal size, provincial calls for a 35% difference. Well it used to, not anymore. As long as French is on top.

Crap, lightening can do that?

That's a lot of work there, I know.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
