I had at least one other person on there last night, so hoping it stays working for the foreseeable future.
And I know I said it before, but I haven't seen our server with the new lighting engine. Game is really really nice looking now. Stuff that's more detailed, but made of uniform blocks, like the surface of moon spawn really stands out now. 100% visual improvement in the game.
There's also some new half-blocks. Combining 3 cobbles no longer produces a smooth half-block, rather it makes a cobble half-block. I think there are wooden half-blocks too. To make the original type you have to combine smooth stone blocks.
Azath is in need of some repair unfortunately. Creeper encounters on the entrance paths have made a terrible mess around the doors.

Are the lighting improvements visible with the different texture packs? And are the new half blocks due to an update? Sounds good, I use half blocks for a lot of stuff; wooden ones would be useful. Any news on the map?
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

The new blocks and lighting are recent updates. Notch has been busy with it.
map is the next project. Sorry for taking so long with it...got a lot of shit on my plate right now.
Once I figure out how to copy files between user accounts, I'll start posting recent backups in that account and provide the login info for anybody to go on there and grab it whenever they want to make maps.
For now, sorry...you have to deal with my slowness.

My friend built a scale model of the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, complete with music blocks programmed to play the Song of Time. It is amazing. Screenshots to be posted.

minecraft!!! man this game is awesome! I've been addicted to it for sometime now! have been building an epic fortress for a while. i was using the free online version for ages, but i got tired of starting fresh each time, so i purchased it for $10 buks and spend probably way to much time on it! would love to come and check out some of the stuff you guys have been building in the malazan servers.

No matter how much I try logging in, it tells me 'Unknown Host' unless I haven't activated some multi player setting on my end I'm beat.

Ok, figured out how the hell you move files between users
I made an FTP account where I'll drop periodic world file backups for folks to make maps with. I have no fracking clue how yet and have no time this week or next. If anybody cares to take a stab at it or remembers how from last time please PM me and I'll give you the login info for the FTP.

We should set up a pvp tournament.
I haven't been on since a feud developed between Jart and myself. Combined, our fight led to the destruction of 8 stacks of tnt... all gone at the same time (we didn't detonate it, the stacks were destroyed by another explosion).
