I really hope these two have a happy ending in the end.

Nice, although I never imagined Apsalar's face being so doll-like.

As for a happy ending, I'm not counting on it. Seems to generic for SE to do. Plus, it'd have to happen in a book outside the series, unless Crokus makes an appearance in TCG (wouldn't be surprised if Apsalar did, though).
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

Don't think that's what I envisage Asplar as but Cutter..yeah, I actually think that's pretty close.

Is it possible to make the hair less "Dynasty" in volume? *wink*

Haha! Well I was trying to think how a female assassin would wear her hair. I would think they would wear it short or tie it up in a ponytail so as not to become an obstacle during moments of action. But I see what you mean about the Dynasty thing. The Joan Collins do.

Yeah Cutter does look to have a "John Forsythe".

I've got what I think looks wrongish about Aspalar…she's too happy! Sorry-cum-Aspalar is pretty much utterly miserable, fed up or just plain mean in the books and I'd suspect that would translate to her face. As for her hair. I’d imaging it would be practically short. A significant lack of stylists available to her and the predomination of nits, ticks and other nasty parasites sort of indicates short hair would be the normal thing to have for men and women whenever possible otherwise you’d be too busy scratching to actually do any fighting.
