Why does it suck, man? Is it short or something? Poor storyline? Too easy? Too hard? Makes no sense?
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

Well, I bought Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt yesterday, gonna play them today. I just won't leave the game unfinished.
Witch Hunt re-using old locations a lot and being generally short is... well, hearthening, considering that means more dev time for DA2.

I just went back and bought all of the DLC for this game, but haven't played it for a second because I've been so cracked out on Oblivion. I'm excited to get back to Dragon Age once I'm done though, I haven't played it since I bought it and went through it 2.5 times.

OK so I played through LS, GoA and WH, here's a spoilerless verdict...
1) Leliana's Song
I liked it, though it's nowhere near Warden's Keep or Stone Prisoner in quality. Action taking place in Denerim and not Orlais was a bit of a disappointment, though that's where disappointments end. There's a few fun quests, the whole DLC has a nice flow, you're never feeling stuck, or stalled. It's an interesting story that just happens to lack the kind of flair Shale brings, but overall I'd reccomend this DLC unless you're totally broke.
2) Golems of Amgarrak
This was one HELL of a hard DLC. This little campaign is challenging, people. Bring your best characters and be ready to seriously break a sweat quite often. The story is quite dark, I don't think there's a single cheerful aspect to it. Again, I think the flow of this DLC is very good, and it has it's own gimmick too (going between different "phases" in the location allowing you to interact with different items). The ending boss, The Harvester, is the hardest fight I ever had in Dragon Age. It's fucking brutal. It's insane. Took me more time trying to get him down on Hard than the rest of the DLC. But it's pretty rewarding I have to say, feels nice to beat him. If you felt that Awakening wasn't as hard as you expected, try this DLC on Nightmare.
3) Witch Hunt
A very storyline-centered DLC, one thing you have to know is that I didn't even notice I was playing on Hard - felt like Easy from the start till the end. Anyways, you'll be revisiting some old locations, got 2 new characters who are quite well fleshed out for the tiny amount of time they are on screen, and your trusty Dog, too! It's short, it's easy, and I wouldn't call it the "closure of the Origins saga", it's just too small and answers too little... but hints are there. The ending fight is incredible underwhelming, it's a total pushover, sadly.
Anyway, the DLC is interesting enough to warrant a purchase.
Overall, if I had to make a ranking for Dragon Age DLCs in a 1-5 range:
Awakening 5/5
The Stone Prisoner 5/5
Warden's Keep 5/5
Return to Ostagar 4/5
Golems of Amgarrak 4/5

I downloaded the demo today. It seems great, the graphics are awesome and it actually starts out very intriquing. However, I'm not sure I like the gameplay, as in the combat style. I sincerily hope that the rumours I've heard are true and that you can play the game in the same style as the first game.
But regardless I WILL be spending my own money on this game!

I am pondering over getting a new machine to play it since my old gaming contraption is extremely volatile. During the first dragon age I lost so much progress, until I learned to use the quick save!
To be perfectly honest, gameplay is almost secondary to the story and the world to me. As long as the story is a winner, the gameplay can be middling!

I agree Luzburg, gameplay is secondary to me aswell, but this type of gameplay simply feels as if it was primarily made for consoles. I am a PC man through and through and I would really like the games I play to feel like they were made for PC.
But as I said, I'll still buy the game, because the gameplay didn't put me entirely off. I can get used to it, no doubht, I just still would have preferred the other style.

Where did you download it from? I got it from the DA2 site and the download went well but the exe refuses to do anything.

Ok, it works. The install wizard just took forever to get started. I have to say that I liked the demo, the combat is more fast paced now but still tactical and the talk wheel is good - choices seem to be paragon, sarcasm, renegade (I call them that). All in all I can't wait for the full game. This, TCG and Shogun 2 will make march an awesome month.

That too (as a Guard player it's impossible to forget). It's just that I'm not getting my hopes up for it yet - I'm afraid that with that number of playable races, the campaign might be crap (if it is then with the God-Emperor as my witness I'm grabbing a flamer and will deliver some righteous retribution ).

Played some of the demo. Not bad. The mages are way cooler now, not got around to trying the Rogues yet.
