Didnt realise that his new series was this close...

Gavin Guile is the Prism, the most powerful man in the world. He is high priest and emperor, a man whose power, wit, and charm are all that preserves a tenuous peace. But Prisms never last, and Guile knows exactly how long he has left to live: Five years to achieve five impossible goals. But when Guile discovers he has a son, born in a far kingdom after the war that put him in power, he must decide how much he's willing to pay to protect a secret that could tear his world apart.

Release date 20th August 2010 in the UK

You may catch the first 3 chapters here

Ohhh Sweeeet.

I'm not going to read the chapters since I dislike starting a read with out having the actual book in my hands, but I will be looking out for this. The Night Angel Trilogy certainly made me a fan.

Did a quick Google and found this article on the new series:

Not set in the NIghtangel universe. But apparently has fire arms in it and cooler magic? I must have it.

I've come across a podcast called Adventures in Scifi Publishing, which occasionally has some good guests on it (check out itunes or other podcast thingy's to find it). This week they have an interview with Brent Weeks.

the website itself is www.adventuresinscifipublishing.com
