Ok, I just finished MoI and i'll admit it to being depressed by the end.
If you have not finished or read MoI then please do NOT read the spoiler below or you will leave pissed off.

To name a few reasons
Spoiler

Ok, so now that ive vented a little. I just want to know one thing. Paran blessed the tomb, If this doesn't become important or if don't find out what this does later I will be even more depressed. I know that it probably doesn't do anything that special, but I would like at least a hint as to if it is explained or not.

While i'm at it though. I also would like to ask, is Kallor going to tick me off even more?

The Blessing is very important thats all I will say.
(Jen'isand Rul, the Wanderer within the Sword)
'I am the Shield Anvil.' I am Fener's grief. I am the world's grief. And I will hold. I will hold it all, for we are not yet done. <Itkovian>
'We are not born innocent, simply unmeasured.' <Hull Beddict>
'Because a god visits her, Fist. He comes to break her heart. Again and again.'<Nether>
'Fucking dragon.' <Fiddler>
Take my breath. But not this one, not this one. <Apsalar>
'Aye.' It's a good word. I think. More a whole attitude than a word, really. With lots of meaning in it, too. A bit of 'yes' and a bit of 'well fuck' and maybe some 'we're all in this together.' So a word to some up the Malazans. <Sunrise>

Regarding both the blessing and Kallor, you'll have to wait a bit, but you will get more on these.

Paaaaaaaaatience. Unless impatience gets you to read faster, in which case, go with that.

Lol, I know. Patience is required when reading this series.

I think I might know who Karsa is. But i'll keep to myself. He may just be a new character.

As for MoI. I know and I am happy for Tool and what happened to him. But from the mood of the book it sounds like Toc and Tool won't ever see each other again and this is depressing to me. Tool finally finds somebody to call friend and then leaves him, satisfied by just his memory.

... I just realized something that I never thought about before. This isn't as depressing to me but, Where did Buke go? Did he go insane and fly away? I did not understand that part of the book.

*Sigh* Now to go slowly into the House of Chains

iirc didnt he just fly away in his soletaken form, something about losing his mind if he returns to the horror/destruction of capustan in human form

yep, he went the way of treach and fell completely into the animal mind of the sparrowhawk

I was hoping Buke would be around as he had unfinished business with Bauchelain and Korbal Broach. Was hoping he and Gruntle would take another go at putting an end to their perpetual "science project". I am on House of Chains, so maybe (hopefully) I will see Buke later on.

The end of Buke's story happens in MOI. Wishful thinking to believe that he'll reappear. The text pretty conclusively stated that his cares and depression after his family's death were 'healed' by being forgotten as his humanity slipped away, and he turned entirely into the sparrowhawk. He's not coming back. He is an ex-character.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

Will there be any "physiological challenges" for Buke as he embraces his new form? Will he be able to start a "family" and flourish? (his brain is now that of a sparrow-hawk) Will a potential mate recognize something different about him? I guess all of the naughty parts should be there, but if he is not in tune with the mating habits of his species, he may have a short life that ends uneventfully. If he does bring offspring into the world, will they somehow have a semblance of his human brain in their DNA?
