need help Erikson fans!

I've just started reading the gardens of the moon series and i love it, it's my boyfriend's favourite series and his 18th birthday is swiftly approaching. As a gift i wanted to get him a signed copy of 'Dust of Dreams'... does anyone know an adress or email or anything that i can use to make this happen or what i should do to make it happen? Or is this a totally impossible task? Any help would be really appreciated.

Only possibility is getting to some sort of book signing and get it done. Or find someone who can do it for you

You can always have a midnight parachute drop into Steven Erikson's secret compound where he hides from all of us. In the few seconds before the attack dogs and ninjas move in to destroy you, he may come down from the Throne of Words to sign your book.

Or maybe eBay would be a little easier.

You could always send him a very polite message on facebook explaining the situation and offering him the soul of your first child, then send him the book containing a pre-paid envelope for him to send it back.

Regardless of how it goes, you deserve full karma for trying to get your bf such an excellent gift.

As a back up you might want to consider the Gardens of the Moon illustrated edition if you can locate a copy, or the collected Bauchelain and Korbal Broach stories if he doesn't already have them.

bah! look online for his signature and work on forging it, once you get reasonably good, sign it and claim its SE's (He probably won't know the difference)

edit: on a side note if you get him to sign something will you have him sign some shoes too? I'll pay you for them.
