Having read most of Dust of Dreams now, I think Paran could be in Kolanse, in the middle of the Assail genocide. I think he is. Two siblings coming together 10 books later.

If there were no smart people others wouldn't feel inadequate.

Right?

Now I wonder if Paran is partly responsible in helping the Snake get out of Kolanse.

Also, what effect does the Errant's eye being in the Azath Icarium made? Does it diminish Errants power?
Or does having a piece of the Errant also means a piece of his soul strengthens the gate to keep the KCNR out?
