Don't bow down to their pedantry KM!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Wow skipped right over Chris Johnson! Interesting start indeed. I guess I'll PM SB, if we have people on and are available we may as well start.

He's referring to the pedantry at "YEAH BOI!" Being in the sub-heading.

I assume.

Okay I'm off to bed, I assume the draft won't be going any further tonight. I did email FW several hours ago, so hopefully he will be on tomorrow. We will go with the 24 hour rule that we used last year. If a person doesn't pick within 24 hours they get the highest ranked player left at whichever position suits the round. We can discuss and come to a concensus on who that player should be if the need arises. If you aren't going to be around much, it's probably a good idea to partner up with someone who can email you, so that you can notify them of your pick. I know KM and I did that last year, I also did that with Slum, and I believe Brood did the same, as did SB and Eddie. It's a good way of keeping things moving. Have a good night boys, happy drafting.

I'm surprised Stalker trusts Gore to hold up for the season and made that pick.

It's the safe pick. IF (and that's a BIG if) Gore stays healthy, he'll receive a massive proportion of touches for the 9ers. That equates to fantasy points. It's one of the fun sides of fantasy, there are no "safe" picks, especially in the first round. If your guy gets hurt, you are fairly well screwed unless you can work some late-late draft or waiver wire magic.

Ahhhh, I love fantasy strategy. I went RB, WR, WR, WR, RB, QB, last year. We'll see where the draft leads me this year.
