Are they going to do the other ICE novels as well?

Somewhere (after DoD, maybe?) Bill posted a tentative timeline that included the rest of the ICE books (save Assail, which wasn't out yet), the B&KB omnibus, and FoD. I would assume that as long as there are books (and interest) the reread will just keep chugging along.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

There has been a whole load of updates done on this along with answers from ICE to OST (interesting one on Rake visiting the Seguleh Island mentioned in MOI) and the start of Blood Follows

That's a shame, that was probably the best reread they have on their site in my opinion.

It would be cool to see that continued here with some of the extremely knowledgeable people on this site.

Shutting it down mid-book is really awful/stupid.

It does seem pretty short-sighted. I hadn't been commenting much on these later books, but I was reading as things went.

I was looking forward to the FoD & FoL reread because half of it went over my head. Plus Im one of the few that loved Dancers Lament, and wanted to see that one done as well.

Wth are you talking about? Dancer's Lament is like by far the closest to positive consensus ICE has gotten.

Indeed!

Glad to see people liked it like I did! The majority of my friends weren't big fans of it. I suspect they went in with reservations off his previous work but they don't admit that.

In that light, can they really be counted as friends?

Sad to see the re-read end. I stopped following around the time of The Crippled God, but it was a great resource to have, and an amazing opportunity to have questions answered by the authors themselves. I've just been skimming through some of the things I've missed since I stopped following, and this answer by ICE with regard to what is a pretty common comment on his writing stood out:

Quote

As to being ‘spare’ in my character descriptions I beg mea culpa, for certain. I agree that I could squeeze in a few more details there, generally, and am trying to work on that. BUT, what any fantasy writer must avoid at all costs is the dreaded ‘infodump’ where a butt-load of exposition is dropped on the reader in one gigantic paragraph giving a description from head to toe, and throwing in his/her family lineage to boot. Perhaps I err in the opposite direction, but better that direction that the other, to my mind.

"I think I've made a terrible error of judgement."
